A huge thank you to 4 Paws Dog Rescue of NJ for yet again coming in clutch and pulling all of them—puppies AND mom! 🐾💙 One thing about this rescue, they never leave the mamas behind. Your commitment gives these families the fresh start they deserve and finally ends mama’s hard days. We are so grateful for your heart, your dedication, and for always stepping up when it matters most.

If you’d like to help support their journey, please consider donating to 4 Paws Dog Rescue so they can continue saving lives just like this family. ❤️

Meet Pugsley, Wednesday & Momma Morticia 🐾🖤

At only 2 weeks old, these tiny siblings were found on the side of the road with their mama—dumped like trash. 💔 When the shelter took them in, they noticed Momma Morticia had a wound on her stomach. A veterinarian confirmed our worst fears: she not only had an exposed umbilical hernia, but also signs of a botched backyard c-section. She was in pain, and her babies were at risk. The vet immediately recommended separating them to give the pups a fighting chance.

The puppies were evaluated too, and our sweet girl Wednesday was diagnosed with a mild case of Swimmers Syndrome. With some physical therapy, we believe she’ll grow strong on her back legs and have a bright future. Her brother Pugsley is healthy, but both of them were far too fragile to stay in a shelter environment.

When the call came in, we didn’t hesitate. We knew if these babies and were going to survive, they needed out—and fast. And we couldn’t leave their mama behind, she needed us too! Now, just shy of 5 weeks old, our spooky season trio—Pugsley, Wednesday & Momma Morticia—are safe in our care, learning to heal, thrive, and be loved the way they always should have been. 🎃👻

But we need your help to keep them healthy and happy. Their little bellies (and special care needs) mean we go through supplies quickly. Please consider sending them some much-needed love through their wishlist 🍼🖤 Every donation makes a difference.

Meet Corinth
1-Year-Old Female • Grey Tabby

Sweet Corinth came to us as a stray on 9/3/25, but her story started long before that. This gentle one-year-old grey tabby was found after giving birth to a litter of kittens—all of whom have since found loving homes, thanks to her amazing care. Corinth proved to be a devoted mama, raising her babies with love and patience. Now, it’s her turn to be the one cared for.

Corinth is ready to leave her mama duties behind and start her own new chapter as someone’s cherished companion. She’s affectionate, calm, and has a quiet strength about her that instantly puts you at ease. Whether she’s curled up in a sunny window or gently nudging your hand for pets, Corinth is simply looking for a warm, safe place to call home—forever this time. Meet Acorn, Cashew & Peanut – A Sweet Trio of Ferrets Looking for Their Forever Home! 🐾

Say hello to Acorn, Cashew, and Peanut – an adorable, bonded trio of five-year-old ferrets who are ready to wiggle their way into your heart! These three have been together since birth and share a strong, loving bond, so they’re looking for a home where they can stay together.

Sadly, they were recently surrendered due to a family hardship, but their friendly personalities and playful spirits have remained intact.

Peanut is the only female in the group – a curious and gentle soul who loves snuggling and exploring.

Cashew and Acorn are both neutered males who enjoy each other’s company just as much as they enjoy yours. Whether they're tumbling around in play or curled up for a nap, they’re always happiest side by side.

This sweet trio is litter trained, social, and used to living in a home environment. They’ll thrive in a space where they can be a cherished part of the family, with room to roam and lots of love to go around.

If you're ready to open your heart and home to three loving ferrets, Acorn, Cashew, and Peanut will return the favor with years of affection, entertainment, and companionship. ❤️

Meet Ursula!
🐾 14-week-old | Grey Tabby | Special girl looking for a special someone

Ursula came to us as a stray on August 6th, 2025, alongside her littermates, Cruella and Maleficent. She and Cruella were both battling a tough upper respiratory infection, but thanks to some TLC in our isolation room, all three sisters have made a full recovery.

Ursula does have a bit of scarring on one eye from her illness, but don’t worry — it doesn’t affect her vision or her beauty. In fact, it just adds to her unique charm.

She is a little hand-shy and still learning to trust, so she’ll do best in a quiet, patient home with an experienced adopter who understands shy kittens and can help her blossom. Once she feels safe, her gentle personality will shine through.

Ursula is healthy, resilient, and ready to start her next chapter. Please apply for her at https://www.gloucestercountynj.gov/FormCenter/Animal-Shelter-5/PreAdoption-Application-50

Meet Cruella
14-week-old Female | Brown Tabby

Cruella is a sweet and resilient little tabby who’s ready to find her forever home. She arrived at our shelter as a stray alongside her sisters, Ursula and Maleficent. Cruella and Ursula were battling a severe upper respiratory infection, but thanks to plenty of TLC and time in our ISO room, all three girls made a full recovery!

Cruella does have some minor scarring on one eye from her illness, but it doesn’t affect her vision—or her stunning beauty. She may be a little hand-shy at first, so she’s looking for a patient and experienced cat adopter who understands that trust takes time and love.

With a gentle touch and a calm environment, Cruella will blossom into a loyal and loving companion. If you're ready to give this special girl the second chance she deserves, please apply for her at https://www.gloucestercountynj.gov/FormCenter/Animal-Shelter-5/PreAdoption-Application-50

Meet Maleficent!
📅 Arrived: August 6, 2025
🐾 Age: 14 weeks
🎀 Female | Grey Tabby

Maleficent may have a name fit for a villain, but don’t let that fool you—this little sweetheart is pure magic! With her perfectly round "apple head" and soft grey tabby stripes, she’s the kind of kitten that turns heads and steals hearts.

Found as a stray alongside her sisters, Ursula and Cruella, Maleficent is the most outgoing of the trio. Curious, confident, and always the first to greet you at the door, she's leading the way as her siblings grow bolder each day.

Maleficent is playful, snuggly, and full of kitten charm. She’s ready to bring her sweetness and sparkle into a forever home. Could it be yours? Please apply for her at https://www.gloucestercountynj.gov/FormCenter/Animal-Shelter-5/PreAdoption-Application-50
