๐ถ ๐ฅต PSA: Don't forget about your pets as we head into hot weather and summer. Concrete and asphalt in direct sunlight can be dangerous for your pet's paws. If you touch it and it's too hot for you, then it's too hot for them! Concrete and asphalt can get quite hot. Here's a rough look based on high temperatures. Bottom Line: Avoid the concrete and asphalt!!
๐ถ Walk Early or Late: Go for walks before 9 AM or after 7 PM when the pavement is cooler.
๐ถ Use Grass or Shaded Paths: Stick to grassy areas, dirt trails, or shaded sidewalks to protect their paws.
