I’ve done this once before and I’m doing it again. Dogs have been the largest and most overwhelming portion of my personality for over a decade. That said, I no longer live a life that requires me to build around my dogs. I no longer foster, rescue, or rehabilitate aggressive and reactive dogs. I’ve formally closed that door.

Closing that door has opened this one. I have a beautiful family, well tempered and rounded dogs, and hobbies and passions I can pursue to bring joy to myself and others. So that’s exactly what I’ll be doing.

I prayed and prayed for clarity on this; which way I needed to go, why my business felt so forced, why the brand was so hard to make click. God gave me my epiphany. It’s not that it’s forced, it’s that I’m basing it on something I no longer do. How can you make your imagine something that doesn’t represent you anymore? Well, you can’t.

I’m so excited to show my rebrand. It has finally clicked and it is finally me.

I give it all to God. This epiphany was no mistake and I’m rolling with it. Thank you to everyone who supports my ups and downs. This is THE brand and I can’t wait for you to see it 🥰🥰🥰

I’m starting to think people with 9-5 sourdough schedules have no commitments outside of work!!! The dough was rushed and I didn’t have time to bulk ferment before putting it in the fridge.

It took FIVE feedings to wake Cleopatra up and get her back to her original bubble and rise!! NEVER go three weeks between feedings!!

On the flip side, this is the dough after my last round of stretch and folds. Since this is part of trying to build the work schedule, I’ll be putting this in the fridge and seeing where it’s at after work tomorrow!

For a recap; Monday morning I fed with the intention of shaping and [somehwat] fermenting a loaf. That changed when my starter was hanging on for dear life 😅

I fed her Monday night, Tuesday night, and this morning as well and today she’s back to her OG smell and everything!

This is my first loaf in weeks so we’ll see how it turns out.

This morning vs when I got home! Cleopatra is definitely getting strong again. I think I’m going to do two more rounds of feeding and then gauge where I’m at.
I also thing I need to NEVER go three weeks without feeding her again 😅
