Does anyone else have issues with Meta Business Suite telling you, you have messages, but there's never any new messages there? The last 5 weeks have been like this and there's nothing in the spam folder either.

We've been asked quite a few times what happens to our fresh quail eggs that don't sell at events, so we thought we'd share!

We actually use them in several different ways. Some go into the incubator to hatch, some end up on our family's table, and others are cracked and separated to make our powdered egg products or freeze-dried to create our freeze-dried treats.

A little fun fact: all of the eggs we bring to events are no more than 5 days old. We collect them fresh Monday through Friday of the event week to ensure the best quality possible.

🥚 For Human Consumption
If the eggs are unwashed and still have their natural protective coating (also called the bloom or cuticle), they can be safely stored at room temperature for 1–2 weeks, or even up to a month in a cool, dry location.

🐣 For Hatching
If you're planning to incubate them, we recommend starting by day 10 if the eggs are not being rotated daily, as hatch rates can begin to decline after that point. Personally, I've successfully hatched eggs that were brought to events and some up to 3 weeks old, still achieving around a 85% hatch rate. However, because our eggs are sold as pet treats, we do not offer any hatching guarantees.
