‼️WE’RE HOLDING MORE DOG TRAINING CLASSES‼️
Due to the level of interest and success with the first go, we’re holding another round of basic obedience training classes. The class will be held on Tuesdays, 6:30 to 7:30 pm, from September 29th to November 3rd (No class on Oct 13).
Here is more information:
🐾Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30 pm, Sept 29-Nov 3 (no class Oct 13)
🐾$150 per dog, no discounts for multiple dogs
🐾Each dog must have its own handler
🐾Will be held at the covered Orrin Hogan Arena, at the fairgrounds
🐾No children under 16 years old
🐾No people aggressive dogs
🐾There will be a maximum of 10 dogs, minimum of 5 dogs. First come, first serve. If you do not get into this class and there is enough interest, we will host additional classes.
🐾Dogs must have a well fitting collar as well as a 4 to 6 foot leash. No retractable leashes please.
🐾Must bring high value treats for rewarding.
🐾Dogs must be current on Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella vaccines.
🐾We will need an email as this will be our means of communication.

To sign up, please call us at the clinic at 785-632-5090 to register. Payment is required at time of registering. Again, it is first come, first serve.
TRAINING CLASSES UPDATE: This afternoon we will be posting information on dog training classes! For now, we wanted to introduce you to the trainer!!
Petra Burke has been a dog trainer for over 35 years and previously co-owned Kindred Spirits Dog Training in San Diego, California. She has taught a wide range of classes, including obedience at all levels, puppy training, trick training, carting, Canine Good Citizen, therapy dog and agility. She has even trained both deaf and blind dogs. Petra’s own dogs have always been an important part of her work, serving as trusted demo dogs throughout her classes. Since moving here to Kansas in February 2022, to be near her daughter, Petra now enjoys life on her 15-acre hobby farm with her horse, steer, ducks, chickens, goats, English Shepherds, and livestock guardian dogs. When she is not working with animals, she is happiest riding her zero-turn mower, Bumblebee, or her tractor, Monarch—living the dream and having fun along the way.
We are very excited to work with Petra to put on these classes as she is a very trusted professional with a lot of experience under her belt! Please check our page this afternoon for more information on registering. The class will be first come first serve once registering opens up.
