Welcome to Dirty Paws Pet Sitting (formerly Thirty Paws Pet Sitting! ThirtyPaws was started as a joint venture with my friend Sabrina, who mostly did drop in visits for our clients. Now that it's only me, I felt that it was necessary to change my business name just enough for there to be a distinction, but not enough to distant myself from all of my beloved ThirtyPaws pack. A little about myself:

My name is Alyson and pet sitting has been a hobby of mine for years now! It is so much fun meeting pets of all different shapes and sizes and caring for them so their parents can enjoy their time away knowing their pets are well cared for! I have two dogs of my own, a 10yr old neutered male flat coated retriever mix and a 5 yr old spayed female cattle dog mix that love making new friends! I also have two human kids, ages 4 and 2, but they have both grown up around pets and know to respect boundaries. I spent two years working in a veterinary clinic setting and began pet sitting for clients with pets that had special medical needs (i.e. seizures, kidney/liver disease, recovering from surgical procedures, etc.), while also working a second job managing a dog daycare/boarding facility. Prior to and during that, my husband and I were extensively involved with non-profit rescues and always had foster dogs, puppies, cats, and/or kittens ranging from 0 days old to 24 years (yes, you did read that correctly; we fostered a 24 year old cat!) I have recently taken time off from my full time job and am currently available full time as a pet sitter! Each boarding or daycare visit includes daily updates with photos. Baths and nail trims can be added to any visit as well! All dogs get to enjoy constant play time with other dogs both indoors and outdoors in a large yard enclosed by a 6ft privacy fence.

Well everyone, the time has come....

We just got confirmation last week that we will be relocating to Rockledge, Florida this August (yes, as in less than 2 months from now 🙃). I will be unable to take any new clients during this time, but I'll be honoring all scheduled bookings, unless we have discussed otherwise. Please be patient with me as far as response time as we navigate this quick transition with our family.

If you haven't done so already, PLEASE share your experiences in the review tab on the page. I have built my business off of word of mouth and reviews alone, so they truly mean the world to me. When we welcome your pups into our home, we welcome them into our family. We bond with them, even during the short stays, and will miss them all dearly.
