Today I want you to do something REALLY simple.

Turn over your pet’s food or treats and READ THE LABEL. 👀🥣

Do you know what you’re feeding your fur baby every day?

I think sometimes we choose pet food because…

🐾 They like it.
🐾 The bag looks good.
🐾 Someone recommended it.
🐾 We’ve always bought it.

But nutrition is such an important part of our pets’ everyday wellness.

And here’s something I really believe:

❤️ Every pet is different.

Their age, size, activity level, preferences and individual needs can all be different — which is exactly why I love learning about the PET before talking about products.

Okay, pet parents… today we’re talking about something that may not be glamorous, but it can tell us a LOT. 😂💩

YOUR PET’S TUMMY!

Gas, loose stools, constipation, frequent tummy upset or changes in bathroom habits are things worth paying attention to.

Our pets can’t exactly walk up and say,
“Hey Mom, my stomach feels a little off today.” ❤️

So we have to be their detectives! 🔎🐾

✨ TODAY’S PET WELLNESS CHECK:

Think about your pet’s digestion.

💩 Are their bathroom habits pretty consistent?
💨 Do they have a lot of gas?
🥣 Do certain foods seem to bother them?
🐾 Have you noticed any recent changes?

❤️ What a great night in Southern Indiana!

I was honored to attend the Jeffersonville Clark County NAACP Branch 3054 Freedom Fund Gathering at the beautiful Vista at Origin Park this past weekend.

Even better—I got to share the evening with some pretty amazing people at the Rotary Club of Clark County, Indiana table! 💙

We also heard from actor Kendrick Cross, known for Acrimony, Stranger Things, Overcomer, General Hospital, and more. 🎬

Great food, great conversations, new memories, and most importantly, an evening supporting an organization doing meaningful work right here in our community.

Thank you to everyone at the Jeffersonville Clark County NAACP for putting together such a wonderful event!

Let’s talk about something nobody really wants to talk about…

STINKY PET BREATH. 😬😂

We love those kisses…

But sometimes that breath makes us turn our head REALLY fast! 🐶💨

Here’s your reminder that your pet’s mouth deserves attention too.

Take a minute today and do a little check:

🦷 How does their breath smell?
🦷 What do their teeth look like?
🦷 Do you see buildup around the gumline?
🦷 Are they comfortable when eating?

Dental care can be easy to forget because we don’t see inside our pets’ mouths every day.
