🌟 Employee Spotlight: Dusty Svoboda 🌟

Today I want to take a moment to recognize someone who means the world to me, both personally and professionally — Dusty Svoboda.

Dusty and I have been dear friends since we were just 12 years old, and having her as part of the Alicia’s Pet Care family has been one of the greatest blessings for both my business and my life.

As our Office Manager, Dusty is the friendly voice behind the phone calls, texts, emails, online booking requests, invoices, and appointment scheduling. She welcomes clients and pets at the front desk, coordinates check-ins and check-outs, and keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Simply put, she is our concierge, our organizer, and one of the biggest reasons Alicia’s Pet Care operates like a well-oiled machine.

Dusty approaches every day with a smile, a positive attitude, and a genuine love for people and animals. She takes the time to get to know our clients, remembers their pets, learns their stories, and builds meaningful relationships with the families we serve. The love she shows our clients and their pets is truly special.

Since joining our team earlier this year, she has become an incredible asset to Alicia’s Pet Care. Her dedication, loyalty, and work ethic are unmatched. Not only is she a trusted employee, but she is also a wonderful friend, confidant, and source of encouragement. She has been through some very great and very difficult times during my life and stuck through it with me like a best friend should!

Outside of work, Dusty loves Jesus, cherishes her family, adores her husband and two wonderful children, and enjoys spending time at the beach or relaxing poolside. Her kind heart and caring spirit shine through in everything she does.

If I could give her 1,000 stars, I would. If I could hang the moon for her, I would. She is truly one of a kind, and I am beyond grateful for her friendship, loyalty, and commitment to our business.

Please remember that exit baths and grooming services must be requested in advance and are subject to appointment availability. Our talented grooming team consists of one full-time groomer and one part-time groomer who care for many wonderful pets on recurring schedules throughout the year.

While we always do our very best to accommodate last-minute requests, available grooming appointments can be limited, especially during busy seasons. Pre-booking your pet’s spa day when you schedule boarding gives us the best opportunity to reserve a spot just for them!

🐾 Alicia’s Pet Care Boarding Update 🐾

At Alicia’s Pet Care, your pet’s health, comfort, and safety are always our top priorities.

Many of our boarding guests require daily medications, supplements, flea and tick preventatives, heartworm prevention, prescription diets, and other specialized care. While we are happy to provide these services, administering medications and supplements requires additional time, attention to detail, trained staff, and careful documentation to ensure each pet receives the proper care they deserve.

To continue providing the highest level of care and maintain the safety of all pets in our facility, a Special Care & Medication Administration Fee will apply to pets requiring medications, supplements, flea and tick treatments, heartworm prevention, or other specialized care during their stay.

This fee helps cover the additional time and personalized attention needed to safely administer and monitor these services.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we continue to provide the quality, compassionate care that Alicia’s Pet Care is known for.
