HARRY HAS BEEN PLACED - this sweet boy is from our Rowdy/Ember litter. He is currently still with his original family and I will be coordinating communication. If interested in meeting Harry please reach out to me!
Meet Harry - Your New Adventure Buddy!
Harry is a sweet 3-year-old Australian Shepherd looking for an active home where he can thrive. Weighing in at 40-50 lbs, this handsome boy has a heart full of love and energy to spare.
Personality & Temperament
Harry is an affectionate, people-loving pup with a great temperament. He's never shown aggression and has a wonderfully submissive, playful nature once he knows you're a friend. He may bark when someone first comes to the door or at neighbors through the fence, but once he realizes there's no threat, he's all wiggles and excitement, ready to play. Harry is very food-motivated, making him a dream to train - he already knows sit, down, off, stay, place, leave it, and fun tricks like shake, roll over, and spin!
Living Situation
Harry is fully housetrained and crate trained. He sleeps peacefully in his crate at night and is comfortable being crated when home alone. He's done well living with a baby and has shown no aggression, though he can be a bit clumsy and unaware of his size - he might accidentally knock over small children in his enthusiasm to play. Supervision and a leash are recommended until he adjusts to little ones. Harry has limited experience with cats and tends to be overly curious rather than aggressive, so a cat-free home would likely be best.
Activity Level & Ideal Home
This is where Harry really needs the right match. As an Aussie, he has moderate to high energy and needs regular exercise and mental stimulation. He loves long walks, playing fetch (though he's still working on that return!), and would absolutely flourish with another dog companion to romp and play with. A home with a fenced yard where he can run and burn off energy would be ideal. Harry deserves an active family or individual who can give him the exercise and attention this intelligent breed needs to be happy.
Why Rehoming?
We have a 6-month-old daughter, and we've realized we simply don't have the time to give Harry the exercise and attention he deserves. We want him to have the full, active life he needs.
If you're looking for a loyal, trainable, and affectionate companion who will keep you active and entertained, Harry might be your perfect match!
