Meet Yzma!
Yzma is the kind of dog who makes everyone stop and say "aww" the second they meet her. With her giant, perky ears and adorable tippy-tap happy feet, she has an irresistible, forever-puppy charm — even though she's no longer a puppy!
It doesn't take long for that charm to work its magic, either; she greets every new person with a wagging tail and instant enthusiasm, making friends wherever she goes. At night, Yzma settles herself into her open crate for naps and bedtime, all on her own — no need to even close the door. If she's left alone, she might whine for a minute, but she quickly settles right in, and she's not a barker at all.
She's a wonderful mix of independent and affectionate, happy to play with her toys solo (her favorite is a crinkly water bottle) but always keeping an eye on her people and loving a good snuggle session when playtime winds down.
Yzma is lower-medium energy, and while she loves a good zoom around the yard, she doesn't need much exercise to stay content. She's fantastic with other dogs once she gets a slow, proper introduction, and quickly goes from a tucked tail to full-on wrestling matches with her foster home's 80-pound play buddy.
She's lives with kids and adores them, though with her habit of getting close and giving lots of kisses, she'd likely do best with children a bit older who can handle her enthusiastic affection.
Yzma is a dog who fits right in and has everyone falling in love with her instantly. She's looking for a patient family willing to help her grow more confident on the leash and give her the love she's so eager to give back. Once you meet her, don't say we didn't warn you — she really might be the cutest dog ever.
