Bear with me this is a long one....
It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing there will be no more weekly scheduled riding lessons at Hidden Acres .
When I started this endeavor , I had a dream ....being able to provide riding lessons that a) are affordable enough to allow people from all walks of life to give it a try , b) create a welcoming and judgement free environment and c) last but not least provide a place where someone cannot only engage in a hobby but spent time with like minded and socialize a little . I guess the last point is really where the German in me shines through ... it was always such a great time at the barn ... we would ride together and then sit , have a cappuccino (coffee, tea... whatever floats your boat ) and just enjoy each other’s company.
Sadly a string of unfortunate circumstances has brought this dream to a halt .No roof over the arena, months of months of heavy rain ( no roof + continuous rain = cancelled riding lessons ) , followed by excruciating heat and humidity ( no roof= no shade = too hot to ride ) and last but most importantly 3 out of 4 horses that could be paired up with beginning riders struggling with different health issues ( no horses = definitely no riding lessons ) .
At this point I would like to thank all those that gave me a chance . Whether in form of lessons for yourself or entrusting me with your precious child/ children I appreciate getting to meet you so so very much, just like I appreciate all the kind words, comments and reviews I have received. I am hoping I will still be able to continue with special events .
I will miss you all dearly and truly hope it is not farewell but see you later.
