🤎 Happy Updates from Kuma! 🤎
Some rescues stay with you forever, and Kuma is one of those very special dogs.
Kuma has been in and out of the life of our Board President, Savahna, given her extensive history with our local rescue organizations. Because of that connection, Savahna was immediately alerted when Kuma found herself in a heartbreaking situation. She was spending her days tied up outside in the heat and cold, with a lead so short she barely had room to lie down comfortably.
When the opportunity came to help, Savahna didn’t hesitate.
Kuma spent months in foster care with Savahna and her family, who played an integral role in her journey. They provided safety, stability, love, and patience while helping her learn that the world could be a much kinder place than she had previously known.
Today, we’re thrilled to share the ending every rescue hopes for.
Kuma has found an absolutely wonderful home with an adopter who adores her. Even better, she now has a new canine sister and a family of her very own. 🐾❤️
Watching dogs like Kuma go from surviving to truly thriving is why we do what we do. Her journey wasn’t always easy, but every step led her exactly where she was meant to be.
