Proper exercise plays a vital role in pet health, but inappropriate exercise can lead to serious injury or, as in heat stroke, life-threatening illness.

Pets love to play and don’t always know their limits, so it’s up to you to set firm boundaries on what’s safe and what’s not. This includes AVOIDING:

🚫 Exercise during inclement or extreme weather (including heat)
🚫 Slippery surfaces
🚫 Overexertion (stop before your pet gets tired)
🚫 “Weekend warrior” syndrome (moderate, consistent exercise is best)

Despite your best efforts, accidents sometimes happen. If you notice your pet is painful or behaving abnormally, contact your veterinarian for guidance.

Meet Milo, he is a Bernese Mountain! 😍

He was Dr Brush's first patient, on her very first day, here at Clarion Animal Hospital.

Milo was tipping the scale in June, at his first visit, weighing in at 13 pounds!⚖

Soon he will not fit on the scale. He is only 17 weeks and weighed in at 40lbs last week. 😳

Milo is a healthy happy puppy! Puppies sure grow fast!
