Orleans County Boots & Saddle Club Our general purpose is to promote an enjoyable horsemanship community through various activities. Many people probably aren't aware that we even exist!

The Orleans County Boots and Saddle Club wishes to extend an open invitation to any horse loving individual or family to join our organization and see what we are all about. The fact is, our club has been around for over 50 years! Our club's mission is to enable its members to unite in efforts to encourage and promote the best interest of horse-minded fellowship and develop good sportsmanship whil

e promoting an interest in horses and horsemanship in our area. We trail ride, hold open training events, shows and clinics, as well as members' only skill shows, draft horse driving clinics, monthly schooling nights, cookouts and an annual Winterfest! Our fundraisers include hot dog sales, poker runs, auctions and a swap 'n' shop. There is something for everyone! This year, the club is going all out with a barrel racing and pole bending "Summer Series" every other Tuesday night starting in June. Riders from all over western New York and at all skill levels will be competing against each other and the clock. Points will be tallied and prizes including an Open Barrel Champion Buckle as well as an Open Pole Bending Buckle will be awarded at our finals. Great food is always being served, so stop over and meet some great people! (There is never a charge to watch!)

So, if you have a horse or just love horses, come and join the fun. Our club grounds are located at the corner of Hulberton and Powerline Roads in Clarendon. We hold monthly meetings on the third Thursday of the month, meeting at the club grounds during the summer months. Family memberships are $25.00 and single memberships are $20.00 annually. Reminder, please attend. This Thursday, 7:15 pm, OCBSC meeting at Clarendon Town Hall. We will be discussing Northampton Park. Park officials are holding a meeting on Thursday at the park. We will be reporting on that meeting. Please come. This may or may not affect use for our future events.

Fun Show Series make up date for the rain day cancellation is Monday, August 17. 1400 Hulberton Road in Clarendon.

Our final run for the season is August 24th and awards night is September 14th.

Registration opens at 6:15, first run at 7:00. All ages and spectators are welcome. Mustard's Last Stand food cart will be there, so come hungry.

Divisions: lead-line, walk/trot/coached, junior and senior.
Classes: pole-bending, mystery skills, cloverleaf barrels.

$15 for members for the night
$25 for non-members
Spectators are free.

Sadly we must cancel tonight's fun show (July 20). The rains soaked the club grounds so badly, the arena and parking areas cannot be used. We will let you know if we reschedule.

Calling all horse program 4-Hers and families!!!! Don't walk away, we need your expert help!!! This Friday, July 17th, horse program volunteers will be washing our jump standards for this year's fair. Please join the fun at 2pm so that everything can be washed before getting a beautiful new coat of paint on the week of July 20th. Both youth and families are needed to help move jumps, poles and flower boxes; prepare to get dirty and possibly wet!! Please meet at the horse arena!! Thank you!!
