The Orleans County Boots and Saddle Club wishes to extend an open invitation to any horse loving individual or family to join our organization and see what we are all about. The fact is, our club has been around for over 50 years! Our club's mission is to enable its members to unite in efforts to encourage and promote the best interest of horse-minded fellowship and develop good sportsmanship whil
e promoting an interest in horses and horsemanship in our area. We trail ride, hold open training events, shows and clinics, as well as members' only skill shows, draft horse driving clinics, monthly schooling nights, cookouts and an annual Winterfest! Our fundraisers include hot dog sales, poker runs, auctions and a swap 'n' shop. There is something for everyone! This year, the club is going all out with a barrel racing and pole bending "Summer Series" every other Tuesday night starting in June. Riders from all over western New York and at all skill levels will be competing against each other and the clock. Points will be tallied and prizes including an Open Barrel Champion Buckle as well as an Open Pole Bending Buckle will be awarded at our finals. Great food is always being served, so stop over and meet some great people! (There is never a charge to watch!)
So, if you have a horse or just love horses, come and join the fun. Our club grounds are located at the corner of Hulberton and Powerline Roads in Clarendon. We hold monthly meetings on the third Thursday of the month, meeting at the club grounds during the summer months. Family memberships are $25.00 and single memberships are $20.00 annually.
