Facebook tells me to write a welcome post for the new farm page...

Well, I was going to wait to make the announcement, even though it seems small- we are transitioning away from our original farm name and are moving towards Nostalgia Farms.

We have FINALLY finished the 501c3 forms and have officially submitted to be a non-profit.

When Benjamin Zawacki and I started this adventure in 2022, we did not expect the amount of (mostly) love, support, and overwhelming generosity that Western New York has blessed us with.

For those who are new to us, we rescue farm animals. Goats, cows, poultry, pigs (Buffalo Bernie!), and everything in between. We love offering the opportunity to come and learn about the animals and interact face to face with them, especially for the kiddos who may not have the opportunity otherwise to learn about farm life. 🤎

We are proudly veteran and women directed.

We often have Open Farm Days every other weekend, and the admission is donation-based. Doesn't matter if you give $5 or $50, we appreciate it. During Open Farm Days, kids can come and meet all of the animals, go on an egg hunt, give the animals friends treats, plant a sunflower or a pumpkin, pick sunflowers, zinnias, and pumpkins 🎃 (seasonally), paint a farm craft- there's so much fun stuff! 🎉

Open Farm Days for the Summer Season are:

Sunday, May 25th from 1-4pm
Saturday, May 31st from 10-1pm
Saturday, June 14th from 10-1pm
Saturday, June 28th from 10-1pm
Sunday, July 6th from 1-4pm
Sunday, July 20th from 1-4pm
Saturday, July 26th from 10-1pm
Saturday, August 9th from 10-1pm
Saturday, August 16th from 10-1pm
Sunday, August 31st from 1-4pm
Saturday, September 6th from 10-1pm
Sunday, September 7th from 1-4pm

We are also available for kids birthday parties and private tours. 🥳 (we provide tents, tables, and chairs for all events)

There is a farm stand at the end of the driveway that we put fresh chicken, duck, and wild turkey eggs in as well! There's other goodies, such as goat's milk lotions, soaps, and goats milk, tallow, and honey lip balms! 🍯

Come meet all the animals- mini pigs, mini cows, all kinds of overly friendly goats 🐐, Buffalo Bernie... Go on an egg hunt in the coops, paint a farm craft, and plant a sunflower! Treats are available for all of the animals 😊

Wear boots, bring some cash- ADMISSION IS DONATION-BASED! Our animals are rescues, so your support is critical for us to keep caring for them. We also have a farmstand that sells chicken, duck, and wild turkey eggs- along with goats milk soaps, lotions, and lip balms (with tallow and honey 🍯).

We have new farm crafts coming to the next Open Farm Days! Come and meet Polly the new Zebu mini-cow, go on an egg hunt in the chicken coops, meet all the animals up close and personal- from goats and mini-pigs, to Buffalo Bernie... You can even hold a baby duck! 🐣

Admission is donation-based. Your donation goes towards feed, hay, and bedding- which for our farm rescues, adds up to over $1,000 a month. 💸😞

We have planned some more dates for our open farm hours. We will be adding new animal friends throughout the summer, so always stop by and see who there is to meet!

A donation is all that's needed for admission!

Treats and some activities can be purchased for tickets. We accept cash and venmo.

Activities to do:

Paint a Farm Craft 🎨
Plant a Sunflower
Egg Hunt in Coops 🥚
Pumpkin Picking (seasonal)
Sunflower Picking (seasonal) 🌻
Meet & Greet Interactions with Every Animal
Brush and Groom the Farm Friends

There's also a Farmstand at the end of the driveway where we sell chicken, duck, and turkey eggs, as well as goat's milk lotions, soaps, and lip balms!

Make sure to bring cash, wear boots, and clothes that can get dirty. 🥾

99% of our animals are rescues. They come to us with behavioral issues, underweight, and with medical problems. But with some TLC and help from the community, we are able to give them a forever home! Some of the animals we have are-

Today's the day! Come to our open farm hours from 10-1at 9435 Tonawanda Creek Road!

Bring some cash for treats and mud boots!

We have goats, mini-pigs, Buffalo Bernie, a mini cow, and all kinds of baby birds to hold.

99% of our animals are rescues. We are hoping to continue to grow to keep helping animals, and we need the community's help with our new barn! 🏡

Come pet the animals, do a gardening craft, go on an egg hunt in the coops, give lots of treats and belly rubs. Can't wait to see you here!

Starting our waitlist for our Juliana mini-pigs, "Teacup," piglets!

All THREE of our girls, Violet, Wanda, and Tessie, are expecting and will be having babies within the next week or so. We are expecting to have about 16 babies. They will be raised in the house, started on potty-training, and will be vet checked.

They grow to be about 40 pounds, live 10-15 years, and are the best little buddies in the world. A lot of you have heard me say that pigs have quickly become my favorite animals- with the intellect of a 5 year old- it's hard to not fall in love with an animal that can understand sentences.

We will be sending them out in pairs (which is best practice) to keep them from becoming depressed. If you are interested, please send me a message. We will be trying to make sure they all go to excellent homes! 🤎🐷
