I know it might be considered “a little overboard” but these cooling fans have been a lifesaver in the Oklahoma heat…

No animal goes unspoiled over here and I’m about as spoiled as they come by my husband who puts up with all the things for me to enjoy this hobby.

As most poultry breeder know,
It takes a lot to provide an optimal environment for the birds, especially silkies 🫶🥰

My husband is taking predator control to a whole new level 😂

Completely joking on that but I may be tempted to pull this guy out by my coops every now and then 🤣

In the last week I have had a raccoon sn**ch one of my favorite Paint hens 15 ft away from me in broad daylight and came out to one of the coops two days later to see a huge snake wrapped around one of my broody mommas. I hit the snake with a brick and husband shot it a couple of times before it slithered away, hen ended up being fine. But that is all the drama I need for a while.
