Quincy needs your help!!! 😢

Unfortunately this sweetie is losing her foster home. She has sat for 9 months waiting for a home for absolutely no reason at all.
Quincy is housebroken, great in a car, likes kids, and is playful with other dogs her size.
She may be too rough for little dogs and we have not cat tested her yet.

Please Share Quincy. She needs a new foster, or even better an adopter!!!

These sweet shepherd sisters are the last of their litter to find homes. They would LOVE an active home with another playful dog. They also like kids, and are learning their crate/house manners.

💔 Unfortunately, we don’t have any adoption photos to celebrate and share this week.

What we do have are some truly amazing dogs and cats still waiting for their forever homes.

Some of them have been waiting for a year. An entire year.

We know our adoption process isn’t the quickest route to bringing home a pet, and we’re okay with that. At Okie Pet Rescue, we don’t simply hand animals over to anyone. We have an application process designed to help ensure each pet is matched with a home that is a good fit and with a responsible owner who is prepared for the commitment of pet ownership.

We also charge adoption fees. Those fees are not arbitrary—they help offset the very real costs of caring for the animals in our program. Veterinary care, vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, food, supplies, transportation, and emergency medical needs all add up quickly. At any given time, we are responsible for the care of approximately 100 animals, and our adoption fees represent only a portion of those expenses.

The reality is that great homes are worth waiting for. But our pets can only find those homes if people know they’re here.

The photos say it all. Every kitten pictured has come through our doors needing safety, food, medical care, and a chance at a better life. 🐱

Today, we opened our last bag of kitten food. We are also running dangerously low on kitten litter, and unfortunately, the intake requests haven't slowed down. Every day brings more calls, more messages, and more tiny lives needing help.
We never want to turn away a kitten in need, but we can't do it without support from our community. If you've ever thought about helping, now is the time. 🙏
