Thank you Jenny Skow Messerly for bringing Luna (2 years) & Finn (1 year) to School while you were busy with wedding plans, wedding and all!! What a great idea that was! They were busy. Both of them were great with training, they thought it was play time, tails a-waggin'! Congratulations to all!!!

3 years waiting for a home is too long. I would take her, but she would have a 4 dog family in a controlled environment. If they don't get along will separate, and train them to get along.

Meet Binx! We have introduced you to her several times, but sadly she is still here 😔 this girl has been with us for 3 1/2 years and has had very little interest the entire time she has been here. She is our longest dog resident we have ever had.. She is 10 1/2 years old now, but you would never guess it. This girl still runs around and plays like she is a puppy. She is your typical Husky mix with the sassy and spunky Husky personality. She likes to talk and loves the cold. We actually have to force her to come inside on very cold days. She is pretty dog selective and we think she would do best as an only pet with no small children. She would also love a nice fenced in yard. Binx is spayed, current on vaccines, negative for heartworm, and microchipped.

Let’s get this girl a home. 3 1/2 years is way to long to wait and even know she does very well here at the shelter we would LOVE to get this girl a home! Please share to help get a home! 🏠

Lindsay Williams and family join Home-Sweet-Home Pet Care for Pepper's Graduation from PAWs Camp! Pepper is just 4 months old and she "aced" training with such a great attitude! She impressed her mama because she wanted to!! Great family training also. 😉

UPDATE: Buddy is still being fostered waiting for his new home. Training fee is $480.

BUDDY is not for sale. Buddy has had to jump homes 3 times, and he dearly wants a family with kids, he loves kids! He would be great in any setting. He's an ultra large white Goldendoodle, with the sweetest disposition. What his issue? He's 2. No one has trained this puppy for manners. He's more fearful than aggressive. I see no signs of aggression even with food involved.

My offer is to train him here since, he trusts me, and then have someone take him home who will give him a great rest of his life! I would like him to continue coming to Home-Sweet-Home Pet Care for his grooming and Doggie DayCare! We socialize them out of fear!

He is a big bumbly jumping 2 year old in progress... with training, he will be easily directed...Left, right, wait ✋️, down, sit, stay, up, come, Stop! Halt! Wait!! Let's Go! Slow....Fast!!! He will listen for commands he knows pretty quick!!

We can take donations from others to pay for the training also. We all want to, save a dog from a life of musical chairs. What I hear from the women is he's hard to handle. Those are leash skills missing, easy fix, he's reactive-- so we educate to stop fear by exposing what they are fearful of? Training is less than $500 for one week of practicing, obedience, leash skills, kennel behavior, behavior modification, and social skills such as when to bark, and when not to! We're saving dogs from a life in a shelter with training and the right families one dog at a time!! He also is vetted, neutered, and shots are up-to-date!

I can see Buddy playing and loving a family.... on the farm would be the perfect fit! Or, he just needs to be able to run with someone, or in a back yard, He will make a really good loving devoted companion! We need some one who cares enough! ❣️🥰👍

I do not abuse animals, I had just saved that horse, I bought him because he was so thin. Here are two angry girls with some grooming skills trying to milk-in my clients with charges of abuse and harrassment... Two years ago they worked for me, and then again both came back to work a year later, isn't that odd?
As a Dog Trainer, I use vibrate collars effectively for behavior modification. They do not shock. Parents are aware for daycare and boarding and only if they get out of hand.
All you have to do is open a groom shop, and you will breed enemies.

Home-Sweet-Home Pet Care has been thriving since 1998. 💕
Sometimes evil or hatred tries to take us down. I will let my reputation of 27 years in this business that I founded, created, and nurtured over a quarter of a century decide who I am! I have worked with thousands of animals and families, always working to better their home lives with their furry friends.

Then I hire help, and three groomshops in Fort Dodge started posting everything they could think of negatively to a chat, for all groomers (outside of us) in and out of the Fort Dodge Area, making fun of our photos of your furry babies, just because they can, being wicked mean like this to anyone they choose to pick on.

The benefit of these actions for them is to hope for failure of Home-Sweet-Home Pet Care so that all of our clients can go to the 2 bitter groomers because they are deserving since they see you as their clients, although only I pay the advertising bills to attract the right clients, and I visit with everyone personally. It is my number they call.

If this post is true, I would have been out of business a long long time ago. Using photos of a horse I rescued is a bit extreme. I saved the horse from abuse. I use vibrate collars for behavior modification and it's totally kind. Watching 9 dogs run around having a ball with each other for 6 hours, play growling, not barking, and being really good at having fun is something to be proud of. I'm very proud of this business, and it's clients who make it all work. We've been here 3 challenging years because of these abuse and harrassment issues....
These are the times when anyone can post something, and it becomes truth with the world...

I wish them light in their life. 🙌

Girls in this age group, learn what they can and go out on their own to succeed, but they don't have the backing of a thriving client list, or the money to advertise, that no post can control. I've changed lives positively-- working with dogs, and thousands know this. Like I said, when I opened a groom shop, I found enemies after me... for what, success? Competition? Free Enterprise?

To all who really know me, I welcome your words here for those that believe anything they see and read and then follow-in-line.... like ants.....

For those that have known me all of my life, I'm sure you have something to say!... Thank you!
