Understanding that every situation is unique, we create an effective, customized training plan specific to each individual case. With a commitment to stay up-to-date on the latest scientific understanding of canine behavior and training techniques, our empathy, ingenuity and adaptability; allows Daack Pack Dog Training, INC. to provide clients with modern and effective solutions based in science. Your trainers! Allison Marie Daack; CPDT-KA, Certified Fear Fear Animal Trainer and Certified CGC Evaluator, is our founder. She has been working with animals since 2008, her career started with working with dogs along with exotic animals focusing on cooperative care and behavior modification. Allison has a passion for working with dog's exhibiting aggressive behaviors, especially human-direct aggression, along with more complicated or generalized anxiety cases. Allison provides in-person services for the greater Sacramento area, offering in-person for the greater-Sacramento area, virtual and day training services. Marie Turner-Bailie comes to us with 15 years of industry experience both in training and trainer mentoring. Starting her career out, she found her passion for all things dog related as a groomer. Within two short years, she began her adventure into training dogs through Petco. Along her path she’s volunteered with Placer County Animal shelter, and A New Hope Dog Rescue. Within 5 years, she became a Dog Training Mentor helping to build other dog trainers’ skill sets and confidence, and passing on her broad knowledge base. Now, after aiding and training many pets, pet parents, and junior trainers in the challenging and distracting environment of Petco, she has made herself available to help those in need of in-home training who may have been overwhelmed by the retail environment. She looks forward to helping you with your training and behavioral goals. Joanne Bignoux McMahon is a Karen Pryor Academy – Certified Training Partner, holds the Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed credential, a member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and an affiliate of Peaceable Paws LLC. Dedicated to presenting effective science backed solutions, Joanne actively pursues ongoing continuing education and professional development by attending seminars or conferences, reading books, and is a current student of the Victoria Stilwell Academy – Online Dog Trainer Course. Joanne’s goal is to provide fruitful interaction that proactively improves the lives for not only the guardian or potential guardian but the dogs, whether they are adopted or awaiting their forever home. When not improving the skills of clients and canines, she contributes to the care and health of pet animals as a Veterinary Assistant at a local Veterinary Hospital.

Join Daack Pack for this months community event...

🏠 Neighborhood Pet Store Day 🐾

September 27th, 10AM-2PM

For this event we decided to go with a Book Fair theme as a way to showcase what makes this Independent pet business tick.. science of course. Specifically the science behind animal behavior! While educational, we will also have a lot of fun activities going on including scent work, a confidence course, book exchange, books and biscuits corner, and more.

We can’t believe our Grand Opening was 3 weeks ago!! It was an amazing event filled with fun, friends, and a whole lot of pups.

Since then we have launched our Enriched Boarding, made even more head way with build out, and are on month 3 of our Group Class Membership program!

As you all know boarding is LIVE and we are offering a discount on our Functional Boarding Assessments !!

Functional Boarding Assessments are required as a first step before you officially board with us. This 6 hour stay includes a personalized evaluation focused on easing your dog’s transition to boarding through strategic; engagement, alone time, and observations.

This includes 2.5 to 3 hours of 1-1 time including timed enrichment, frequent observational collection, and a comprehensive assessment by our applied animal behaviorist to design the best care plan and ensure that we’re a good fit.

We are so excited to announce that BOARDING IS LIVE! 🐾

At Daack Pack, we believe every dog deserves a positive, enriching experience when they are away from home. Our indoor facility features 44 square foot custom designed kennels with fear-free handling, specialized enrichment, and Applied Animal Behaviorist oversight. We are perfect for dogs with anxiety, fear or special needs. Staffed 18-20 hours daily with technology backed monitoring and a local owner living a mile away, your dog's safety and comfort are our top priorities. All this to say we are not your average boarding!

Our Story

The owner of Daack Pack Dog Training, Allison Daack CPDT-KA, has been working with and training dogs, along with other species of animals since 2008. In the beginning of her career, Allison was a Kennel Technician working closely with a Veterinarian where she learned all about developmental periods of dogs, handling skills and how to prevent behavior issues.

From there she spent several years working with exotic animals and mentors at numerous wildlife facilities and reserves in California and North Carolina. She did everything from educating the public, rehabilitation and using training/ behavior modification to help animals cope with not being able to be released due to injury or illness.

Allison then had a long career with Petco, where she ended it as a Dog Training Mentor. Not only did she train other dog trainers to be dog trainers, she taught classes and was apart of a cooperate team to help support and update Petco's dog training program. June 1, 2016 Allison founded Daack Pack Dog Training as a way to better support the needs of her clients. Through this company she has been able to provide the community with custom, in-home training to support their specific needs and the needs of their pets.

Between the beginning of her career and today she has trained and applied behavior modification with everything from vultures, lions, tigers, bears (oh my!), dogs, cats, hawks, etc. Whether you are looking for help dealing with a high-energy dog, dog or people aggression, separation anxiety, inter-species conflicts, leash reactivity, a shy and hesitant dog, confidence building, etc.; Allison would be happy to work with you to find a solution through a customized training plan.
