💙🐾 Help Little Ozzy Get the Care He Deserves 🐾💙

Today Ozzy went in for his vet appointment to have x-rays done to find out why he can’t use his back legs. Unfortunately, the x-rays didn’t give us the answers we were hoping for—everything looked fine on film. That means the next step is an MRI, which will tell us if his condition is due to a birth defect, genetics, a spinal injury during delivery, or something else entirely.

👉 The cost of an MRI is several thousand dollars, and as a small nonprofit that runs only on donations, we need your help to give Ozzy this chance.

✨ The good news—Ozzy is such a fighter! He weighed in at almost 8 pounds today and did fabulous at the vet. He’s eager to learn how to use those back legs, and we even got him a little wheelchair to help in the meantime (though he’s growing so fast, we’ll likely need another one soon).

Sadly, he also picked up a case of kennel cough, but we’ve got him on antibiotics and he’s already on the road to recovery.

🙏💙 Please keep our sweet boy Ozzy in your prayers 💙🙏

This Thursday, Ozzy has a very important vet appointment where he will be getting x-rays, bloodwork, and a full exam to see what we can do to help his back legs. He is such an amazing little pup, and we are so thankful he is safe with us now.

We will be sharing his vet bill on Thursday for anyone who would like to donate toward his care. Every single donation, prayer, and share truly makes a difference for Ozzy and for our rescue. 💕

Ozzy is a puppy that I committed to before I take my break
✨ Meet Ozzy ✨

Ozzy has finally made it into our care, and what a beautiful, strong little puppy he is! 💙 His story is heartbreaking—he, his mom, and two siblings were found abandoned in a cardboard box outside someone’s home. When the finder checked, she noticed that one of the puppies couldn’t move his back legs. That little fighter is Ozzy.

Despite his challenges, Ozzy is eager to play, explore, and be with people. He’s already showing us just how determined and full of love he is. 💕 We’ll be taking him to the vet soon for a full evaluation to better understand what’s going on with his back legs. From what we can see, he uses his back right leg, but his left hip may not be attached. The good news is that he does have feeling in both legs, so we are hopeful!

We’ve raised $120 so far to help with his upcoming vet bills, but Ozzy is going to need ongoing care and support. To help cover his medical needs, we’ll also be holding a blanket fundraiser/auction soon.

Meet Timon, the ultimate love bug! He's friendly, house trained and handsome. His only flaw is that he is leash reactive. But don't worry, he's happy to play in the backyard or snuggle on the couch if walks aren't your thing. Leash reactivity doesn't mean he doesn't like dogs. His wonderful foster parents have introduced him to puppy day care and with slow intro he has a blast. Timon has been waiting for over a year with Rescue Street to find his family. Is that you?

✨ Happy Tails for Hazel! ✨

Do you all remember sweet Hazel, the girl we rescued off the streets of Fresno? She was found pregnant and in desperate need of help. Sadly, she had to undergo an emergency C-section and lost all of her puppies 💔. Through it all, Hazel showed us nothing but strength, resilience, and love.

Today, we are overjoyed to share that Hazel has officially found her forever family in San Francisco! 🏡❤️ She now gets to do her happy dance every day, surrounded by love, joy, and security. We know she’s going to thrive and finally get the beautiful life she deserves.

Congratulations, Hazel—you’ve got the happiest ending, and we could not be more thrilled for you! 🐾✨
