Skip Over Trouble Horse Rescue, Inc We are a 501c3 Org. and have wonderful horses and other animals that will live out their lives with us without worry of abuse or starvation

We share our love and devotion with people, the horses and sometimes other animals that come here. Animals are usally starved, abused or abandoned, occasionally we do recieve owner surrenders that just need to re-home their baby. If they need retraining, we provide that and anyother need they have to find them a wonderful lifetime home. Some are sanctuary horses here because of age, medical or met

al issues they are best to stay with us until passing. We welcome visitors and volunteers ! Please call to make sure we are here then come on over.

Pistol got a chiro from Sandra Calhoun DMV at Hunters Trail Farm & Veterinary Services , LLC . She is a great Vet certified in chiropractic and acupuncture. Bremer blanket also.
Pistol, Slyboy and Trooper got their coggins done. Trooper also got his 5-way plus West Nile and Rabies as he was excepted into Mill Creek Retirement Home ! Is will be a little bit as they have taken in a few horses lately but he is in line. I have sought sanctuary for him in his own herd for a few years now and he has been returned twice and the last time it was sad. The reason I never asked Mill Creek before was because he did not fit the requirements but he does now and that is one place I will never have to worry about him. They are the BEST !! Thank you to them for allowing this older mustang that has never really liked domestic life in a small area. At Mill creek he will get a large pasture ( I think they are 10 acres each) with a couple herd mates and the very best of care.

Me , Jeff and Wendy Lopez took donated and personal items to the tack sale at Alachua County Ag and Equestrian Center. Amazing set up that they give for a $15 fee that goes to help 4-H kids. We sold $130 worth so that was nice and helpful as on the way home we stopped and bought 22 bales of coastal for $203 . So more then half was paid for with donated tack ! Thank you to people who sponsor , donation monthly and as you can see donate items we can sell to also help with cost. I didn’t take pics of the place but they give a large area to set up and it’s covered ! Way better than any other tack sales places. People need to jump on board next year . I know we will!

I forgot to post this. Last training session we switched horses. This is Wendy Lopez with Slyboy. So cool that he is comfortable with her. Then we took them on a short trailer ride ( first one other then when we got them from the blm as babies) they did really good!

Today’s trading for Pistol and Slyboy included “ T-Shape” obstacle, going around cones and trailer loading and staying in for quite a while.
