Skip Over Trouble Animal Rescue, Inc We are a 501c3 Org. and have wonderful horses and other animals that will live out their lives with us without worry of abuse or starvation

We share our love and devotion with people, the horses and sometimes other animals that come here. Animals are usally starved, abused or abandoned, occasionally we do recieve owner surrenders that just need to re-home their baby. If they need retraining, we provide that and anyother need they have to find them a wonderful lifetime home. Some are sanctuary horses here because of age, medical or metal issues they are best to stay with us until passing. We welcome visitors and volunteers ! Boone and Wander got their dental done at Chi Institute today. Dr Yorke was great! Boone had massive Calcium built up on both canines but other then that surprisingly he only had sharp points and a few ulcers from cuts in his cheeks. He is good to go now. Wander has a wave ( surprisingly as he gets done every year) she showed us and by the time she was done it is almost gone. She said next years dental she will be able to totally remove the wave in his teeth . Great experience and will be back when others need it

Whew. We are beat. Took out the bad wood and cleaned it up and replaced with pressure treated wood. Also had new tires put on. At some point we will have to remove surface rust and paint it to keep it in great shape for the horses

White is blind in one eye but she is still a bully :P . She decided she wanted not only her food but Elvis's also. She also decided that Elvis could stand in the rain most of the time as she wanted the only metal covered shelter. So we fixed (new wood and metal ) for one side of the other shelter , that also has a fan. We made it so one of them can be locked in while they eat so each gets their own food. Poor white is cut off from stealing feed and shelter LOL

Myself, Jeff and Wendy went to visit Slyboy and get a update on his training. We went a couple days early because Thur and Friday were going to be nasty weather.
He has turned a corner and is relaxing enough to us his brain and not just react. He has a ways to go but great improvement!
We all were very happy with his progress including his trainer
