The holidays mean delicious treats everywhere… but some of our favorite festive foods can be dangerous for pups. A quick seasonal reminder to keep curious noses safe:

🚫 Chocolate (all kinds — especially dark!)
🚫 Grapes & raisins (including in cookies + fruitcake)
🚫 Onions & garlic (in almost every holiday dish)
🚫 Macadamia nuts
🚫 Rich, fatty foods like gravy, butter-heavy dishes & skin from meats
🚫 Yeast dough (can expand in their stomach)

Your dog may think they deserve a taste of everything on the holiday table… but keeping these foods out of reach keeps them safe, healthy, and out of the emergency vet. ❤️🐾

Did you know pups actually need more grooming in winter, not less? ❄️🐶
Sweaters + salt + slush + dry indoor heat = mats, dry skin, and itchy pups.

Here’s how to keep them comfy:
✔️ Brush regularly (especially doodles!)
✔️ Rinse paws after walks (salt can irritate skin)
✔️ Keep a consistent grooming schedule
✔️ Avoid letting their coat “grow out” into tangles

A well-maintained winter coat keeps them warmer, healthier, and happier.

Your pets’ safety — and our groomers’ — always comes first!

As we head into winter weather season, please note our policy:

🐾 If Forest Hills School District is closed, Groomer Has It will also be closed.
🐾 We may also close if road conditions are unsafe at any time.

If we need to cancel your appointment:
✨ You will automatically be rescheduled for the same time on the Sunday of that week.
✨ If that time doesn't work for you, no worries — just reach out and we will happily find another spot that fits your schedule.
