There’s something about a dog you have when you get to grow up together! I remember begging and begging my dad for a dog and eventually we got gizmo! He was always such a fun, spunky and adorable pup! He absolutely loved Christmas, opening gifts was his favorite thing to do other than be as close as he could be to my dad! He was my dad’s best buddy! Kinda like the son he never had! I always knew I wanted to do something with animals! We had an amazing groomer at Petsmart named Dani, who later became one of my most amazing/wonderful friends! she groomed gizmo from the very beginning and later on I’d become a bather at Petsmart and would watch her groom giz! I loved watching how she’d turn him into the cutest pup there ever was! I’d take on lesson and hold them close until I was ready to be a groomer and go through the academy. I remember going to the academy and being so excited to learn and possibly work on giz if she’d allow that because the dogs we get to groom mean so much to us but of course she allowed me to take him on! She taught me things I didn’t learn in the academy and he let me groom him as if it was no big deal! He was my first “client” and boy did that mean a lot to me! He got to be with me from petsmart to another salon and then my own business! I’m so thankful I got to be part of his family and to be his groomer. So with all this being said it’s to basically let you all know that when the time comes for our pets to cross the rainbow bridge there’s always a part of us that goes with them! I know my dad’s house will never be the same without hearing his bark when you walk in or even drop something! But when we loose our clients dogs also a part of us as their groomer also aches with you guys! So here’s to all the fur babies that have passed over the rainbow bridge we will always miss you and thank you for leaving the paw prints on our hearts! 🌈🐾🤍
