This freshly one-year-old girl was soaking up the snuggles before her spay. Procedures like spaying help cats live healthier lives and reduce pet overpopulation, and we make sure every pet feels safe and cared for along the way.

This holiday season, Tammy’s home is filled with wagging tails, soft blankets, and something even more meaningful—relief. 💙

On a fixed income and facing her own medical expenses, Tammy brings her three beloved dogs, Daisy, Bear, and Bella, to Pets In Need for consistent, affordable veterinary care. From senior wellness to puppy playfulness, all three receive the care they deserve without Tammy having to choose between her health and theirs.

“Vet care is so expensive. I have my own medical bills, but I can’t let my dogs suffer. They’re very dear to me,” Tammy shared. “I’m so grateful for Pets In Need.”

Your holiday donation helps keep stories like Tammy’s possible. Give today and help keep pets healthy, loved, and home.

This season, we’re celebrating the love between pets and the people who would do anything to keep them healthy. In the spirit of giving, we invite you to be part of that work.

In our community, more than 80,000 households live below the federal poverty level and still lovingly care for their pets. Because of your generosity, over 4,000 pets across the tri-state received affordable veterinary care through Pets In Need. But the need continues to grow.

When care feels out of reach, your support often makes the difference between a pet staying in a loving home or being surrendered, abandoned, or euthanized before necessary.

Looking for a meaningful way to give this holiday season? Donate, shop our wishlist, take part in the Cincinnati Gives Challenge, or volunteer your time, every act of kindness helps keep pets and families together. 💙🐾

We’re excited to share big news! 🎉

Pets In Need will soon have a scholarship named in their honor with the University of Cincinnati’s Veterinary Technology Program. This scholarship is made possible through the generous support of Don Klekamp. His investment is helping advance the next generation of veterinary professionals who are passionate about providing compassionate, affordable care to families with low, no, or limited income. Students in the program will have the opportunity to observe and complete coursework requirements at Pets In Need as well as consider employment upon graduation. This scholarship is the largest of its kind available under the Veterinary Tech program and will support one student a year (for 5 years) who is passionate about this field through nonprofit work.

We’re proud to invest in future veterinary professionals who believe in keeping pets healthy, families together, and care accessible for everyone. ❤️🐾

The Cincinnati Gives Challenge is officially LIVE! 💙🐾

From now until December 11 at 5 p.m., every dollar you give helps Pets In Need provide critical veterinary care to pets in families with low, no, or limited income. Vaccines, medications, and procedures that would otherwise be out of reach, your support makes them possible.

We’re counting on our amazing community to help us climb the leaderboard, a chance to win bonus funding, and care for even more pets and families this holiday season. Every gift matters, and every gift keeps pets healthy and families together.
