Very exciting news for NKY residents! Let’s get those kitties fixed!

Hey NKY! Exciting news!

We have received funding from NKADD which reduces the cost of surgery, rabies vaccine, and FVRCP vaccine to $35 (a $90 value!) for residents of Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin. Grant, Kenton, Owen and Pendleton counties!

This grant funding is available to both pets and unowned community cats. Very cool!

And hey, we get it, those gas prices are pretty tough. We offer transport options that leave from locations in Alexandria, Fort Mitchell, Walton, and Williamstown. You can book a transport appointment on our website, meet us at the designated location, and we'll transport your cats safely to our clinic and back to the location where you met us.

Call us or go online to book your appointment to take advantage of this discounted cost while funding lasts!

Spay and neuter funding for all feral cats in traps for Ohio!!

Spay and neuter funding for all feral cats in traps for Ohio!!

At OAR, we love TNR and how hard our community works to help outdoor cats live their best lives. We're just as excited as you are when you trap the cat that's been hanging out in your yard! You've probably noticed we have not had a ton of openings for TNR walk-ins this month, and we really appreciate your patience while our capacity is limited. But we're always looking for ways to help, and we're excited to share we've found a day on the calendar for a Super TNR Day!

What does that mean? Well, it's a day where it just happened to work out that we have some extra surgery capacity, and we want to open it up for TNR cats. So get those traps dusted off and plan to bring your community cat friend to OAR on Tuesday, April 28th!

Want some more exciting news? Thanks to Petco Love, we can subsidize the cost of our TNR package for anyone living in Ohio. So even if you're not in Hamilton County, we've got you covered! We don't know when this opportunity will come around again, so don't miss it!

As always, please remember:

This program is for unowned, outdoor cats only. This program is also intended only for cats that will be returned outdoors. We are happy to help with your pet cats, or cats that you want to adopt after they have been fixed. We even have financial assistance available for many situations and clients, so give us a call if you need an appointment for a pet or soon-to-be pet kitty. This is important because we want to ensure we are using the generous grant we received appropriately to help as many community cats as possible.

Cats must be in appropriately sized humane traps. Those tiny green traps aren't safe for us or the cats during the processes of administering anesthesia or during recovery, so please skip using those. We cannot accept cats for our TNR program that arrive in anything other than a humane trap.

There is a limit of 2 cats per person/address/colony. We don't have infinite capacity, and we want to make sure everyone has a chance to get a cat in on this Super TNR Day!

Drop-off is at 8 AM on April 28th, and you'll pick up your cat the next day at 7 AM.

We can't wait to see you there!

🐾 Clermont County Low Cost Neuter Program 🐾

The cost is only $30 per feline. This works for feral cats brought in feral traps (ear tip mandatory for all cats brought in traps), stray cats, friendly cats, family cats. We don’t care what their living arrangements are as that has never stopped cats from reproducing before…

We can’t intake every cat, or even half the cats we are reached out about, so we are going to try at the very least to keep those cats from reproducing. Our pet population is because of owners not being responsible with their intact animals - cats being the biggest issue. 1.5 MILLION cats are euthanized in shelters in the United States every single year. So let’s all fix that!!

It is recommended across this country to spay/neuter cats by the age pf 5 months old or younger (8wks/2lbs). Waiting to spay or neuter your cat serves no benefit - they are not like dogs. They can be done as early as 8wks and 2lbs. Vaccines, exams, FeLV/FIV testing, deworming, microchips and flea prevention at an extra cost to you.

💙 THIS PROGRAM IS FOR MALE CATS ONLY 💙

NEED TO SCHEDULE?!

Give Owensville Animal Hospital a call Monday through Friday 7:30am-5pm (Wednesdays 7:30-Noon) to get on the schedule. Make sure to tell them it’s for Fostering Feline’s low cost neuter program or you will not be scheduled under our discounted program and will be responsible for full cost ($90)! We are unable to adjust the billing after you schedule as our funds are used quite quickly with this program.

There are a limited amount of spots and the $30 is required at the time of making the appointment; No exceptions as this is the agreement between us and our veterinary partner to help stop people from "no showing" their appointment. If you no show, or cancel last minute you will lose your deposit of $30.

This program is ONLY for individuals that live in Clermont County, OH - no organizations, breeders or independent rescuers (people who do TNR work at various places or take in cats to adopt them out - there are local programs that will help you). We maintain the right to decline any one for any reason - including being rude to any staff members or volunteers.
