Healthy Hatcheries is a third generation family owned and operated poultry business. The hatchery was started in the mid 1920's by Hugh "Chick" O'Hara (a local pipe fitter) who started out by hatching just a few chicks in his basement for friends and neighbors. Healthy Hatcheries has grown to produce over 4 million chicks, ducks and game birds annually. Our success has been achieved through a comb

Do you have a tried and true method for peeling fresh eggs?
We've tried a few different ways, but at our house it seems the boil with nothing in the water, ice bath and then peel under running water works like a charm! How about you?
