Sorry for lack of quality pictures lol. I currently live in a basement apartment so lighting is poor.

Gin (BEW) x Squirrel (BE marten)
DOB: 1/23/23
• 7 pups
• 5 does, 2 bucks

I didn’t post much here, but this litter is LONG awaited.
I have 4 dwarfs from a friend that I kept as pets when I took a hiatus from breeding early-mid 2020. The line they’re from is from a good friend of mine and they are absolutely incredible rats. My heart rat, Kahlua, was the grandmother of these pups.

My friend lost this line to rat bite fever, as many people lost their rodents.

We tested my males and they tested negative so we scrambled to try and save the line!

My males are old (Squirrel, the father of this litter is 3 and his father is 3.5) so there was concern they weren’t able to breed. Squirrel, despite being a first time dad, got Gin pregnant within a month : ) These babies are a revival of a line that was almost considered lost. They’re really something special!

Most of these will be going to my friend! I may keep one. Brandy (agouti capped) is currently paired with Squirrel. Rosé (amber berk) and Whiskey (Cinnamon broken hood) are on standby to be paired.

Hey, Sage here. Long time, no post. Ready for a big update?

Cinnamon has moved to California (miss ya bud ;_;), but I am breeding on a small scale until I move out this summer!

Right now I’m working with Cinnamon’s variegated (I’ve outcrossed, so markings are still in the works as you can tell lol). I’m probably going to start working with siamese and merle again soon! I also had some fuzzy hairless pop up.

I’ve also been collaborating to bring back my friend’s old rat line! I hope to work with dwarf again (hopefully siamese dwarf) in the future!

Squirrel (black eyed marten) is the father of the line at 3 years old! He’s fathered a litter with Gin (black eyed white) and there’s plans to breed him with Whiskey (cinnamon broken hood), Rosé (amber berk), and Brandy (agouti capped)! Most will go to my bud, but the lineage will eventually be the foundation for my rat lines.

Right now, I’m not really planning on selling mice. I’ve gotten a lot busier since graduating college, so it’s not worth it sometimes to sell $5 mice. I might sell some, but increase prices to $10 per mouse if there’s interest? Maybe a bit more depending on the mouse.

I *do* plan on selling rats in the future. For now, I figured I’d just post updates and cute rodents!

hey just an fyi we are currently not actively breeding due to life circumstances so I've turned off messages to the page, but we both would like to come back to mouse breeding separately when we are in better places and will post here when the time comes!

we haven't updated much lately so here's a general overview of how its going here at cinnamon and sage!

sage is taking a break from breeding rodents to focus on college, and cinnamon has switched to only focusing on one line of mice, we have drastically cut down on rodent breeding and mostly just use ones not kept, as snake food (we do intend to get into corn snake breeding at some point if anyone's interested, we have some as little as a year away from breeding if we can successfully incubate the eggs!)

if anyone is interested in getting mice as pets we have an extremely limited variety and will need to be told ahead of time what to keep as i no longer bother to keep mice that I dont intend to breed! I focus on black tan, and black tan variegated (like pied but tends to have smaller and more jagged spots)

I also have merle and hairless pop up occasionally and while I normally immediately cull those, I can look out for some to be pets if someone is willing to wait on it! attached some pics with captions describing them for those who don't know the technical terms

we have some rats available, message for more details

must go in at least same s*x pairs unless you're a trusted breeder

theyre black, marten, black marble, and marble marten, but we can also just bring any girls or boys for you to pick them out in person since the various grey things is confusing lol

located in cincinnati, pickup only at wyoming fire department

the one in the first picture was born with a micro eye but has no problems with it, but should not be bred due to that

Hi guys,

I hate to say but we will not be selling mice or African soft furs in the foreseeable future. Our mental and physical health has been severely impacted by Covid-19. I really don't have the spoons at this point to sell mice and keep up with communication :(

We will continue breeding and may post mice we have available but we will largely not be able to respond to questions or inquiries. I just don't have the mental capacity right now. I'm sorry.

We might have some rats soon and they're a little less stressful to sell. So we may have some available in the future. We will also continue to post pictures and updates if we can! We're closing indefinitely with our mice, but not forever!

Thank you so much guys ❤️

we're getting into rats thanks to Weird At Last Rodentry

We are currently not selling any rodents due to COVID-19 and me being immunocompromised. These guys won't be bred for a while but we are super excited to have some dwarf babies in the future!

welcome our new marten dwarf buck (naming help?? his brother is named possum so matching names are preferred!) to hopefully be bred to Viniq and Kahlua in the future!

Be safe out there folks!

Hey guys!

Our replies may be slow for a while. I'm so sorry! If you need me, please nudge the message, I won't mind! I'm so busy I sometimes miss messages or open them and forget to reply.

Cinnamon and I are super busy for the next few months. I'm a full-time college student and a part-time worker and Cinnamon is a full-time worker.

This is our hobby! We really break even if not lose money from our animals. We adore it, but our jobs and school come first.

So please if you need something and I haven't replied in 24 hours, nudge me!
