Western Veterinary Clinic is pleased to announce that Michaela Musselman, DVM, has joined the staff as an associate veterinarian. Dr. Michaela grew up on a farming and stocker cattle operation near Clay Center, KS. She was very active in her local 4-H and FFA programs and enjoyed showing livestock at the county fair. She attended Kansas State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science. During her undergraduate studies, she competed on the meat judging team and earned All-American honors. She went on to attend veterinary school at Kansas State University and graduated this spring. Dr. Michaela enjoys working on all God’s creatures big or small, but has interests in feedlot medicine, reproduction, and equine sports medicine. In her free time, she enjoys team roping and hunting with her fiancé Taten Schlochtermeier of Meade. Stop by the clinic and meet Dr. Michaela!
