It is that time of year when we collectively come together to celebrate the incredible journey of this remarkable nation. My parents served as shining examples of patriotism, embodying an unwavering faith in God and humanity, as well as kindness and impartial behavior. Both of them rose from humble beginnings to achieve the American Dream, inspiring us all with their perseverance. They acquired their own home and raised two outstanding sons, instilling in them the values of hard work and determination. They achieved their dream through their own endeavors, with my father making the final mortgage payment on the day he passed away, a testament to his unwavering commitment. In commemoration of this momentous occasion, I extend warm felicitations to America on its 250th anniversary, a milestone that fills our hearts with pride and gratitude. We will be closed on Friday, July 3rd, in honor of this great nation, and I encourage you to take time to reflect on the blessings of freedom and enjoy the company of friends and family. Please remember to exercise caution with fireworks, as they can startle and harm pets, and unattended fireworks can pose a hazard to children and animals, so let us celebrate responsibly and with compassion.

We will be closed Saturday May 23 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. With the onset of summer events, it is easy to overlook your pets. Also please do not leave a child or animal in a locked car. Temperatures can sore in a vehicle with no shade no airflow and it can become fatal.

Richard is having surgery to remove the hardware from his cervical fusion. Hopefully this cures the problems he has experienced for the last 7 months and allows him to get back on his feet. We’re sorry for any inconvenience and appreciate all prayers and well wishes.

We are getting a lot of inquires about our prices. Our prices are very competitive with other shops in the area. Please keep in mind that the cost of living has increased so has the cost of doing business. In order to keep the business open it is unfortunate that we have had to increase some of our prices. Our rent goes up every year. It has increased $400.00 since we opened. Our electric bill has doubled . internet/phone bill has increased. Its required that we have internet service for the credit card reader and our insurance requires that the fire alarms be connected to the alarm system. Operating supplies like (shampoo,blades,towels and dryers need to be replaced or purchased. We are responsible for the hvac unit, hot water etc ., We had to purchase a new hot water heater and have it installed in December. Also Campus Hills Shopping Center is under new owner ship and we are working on making this a seamless transition for you our clients as well as our selves. We opened our business with the intent of not gouging our clients. We still strive to do that but in these financial times to stay in business its unfortunate that we have to pass these additional cost on to you our valued clients. Karen cringes every time this subject comes up until I show her the books with the cost/loss a**lyst statement. We value each and every client and realize that your pets are part of your family. If we had some way to cover the addition cost with out passing them on we would but there isn’t since the cost of the grooming directly effects our operating budget.
