In between biblical flooding we made it out to the build site with all the pooches - things are really coming together now! =)

Just outside our rented horse pen a lovely group of moo-cows came by to check us out. 😍

Just 3 short months until we move ourselves and all of the animals to Ronin Ridge Animal Sanctuary!

The roof is finally on our house at Ronin Ridge Animal Sanctuary! This has been a struggle so we're thrilled, as the weather changes we can move inside and do carpentry.

Bead board and electrical are up and in, too! Ready to spray in some insulation. =)

January 1st is still our move-in date. Literally counting the days until then.

Horses are still hanging out at the rental pasture, but we're only three months from going live at Ronin Ridge Animal Sanctuary!

Little Peepers update!! She is kicking butt. ;)

Construction update!

Ronin Ridge is coming along quite wonderfully. =) Upper and lower decks are finished, windows and sliding doors are 100%, and roofing/siding is about to begin this coming week.

We should be able to move in January, but there'll still be A LOT of work to do. The journey is slow, however after 20 years a few more months is negligible. ;)

More updates to come!

Ursula and Peepers are starting to play quite a bit! Popeye is now named Peepers, btw. 😉 She is feeling better every week and is starting to have fun. Quite wonderful to see!

Kitten update! The new kitty is healing up as Dr. Shannon nurses her back to health. Every day is better than the last and she's starting to explore her environment with Ursula. They are starting to play together now, as well. 😍

Kittie's new name is Peepers - named by the mighty Clara Meath, Comic Book Artist !

I am the man with the carrots! Quincy and Donny getting their mandatory veggies, along with Dr. Shannon giving them a once over. 🙂

For those following our personal accounts, everyone is safe from the fire evacuation and we're back at the rental house while Ronin Ridge continues to be built!

A woman came into our clinic with a kitten in terrible condition that she had found on her ranch. She suspected that some strays must be having litters, as she recently felt the need to drown a previous batch of sickly kittens. The poor kitten in the video was found alone on her property and asked Dr. Shannon if she should dispatch this one the same way (As her husband refused to shoot the kitty…).

Dr. Shannon immediately had the owner relinquish the kitten to her care, and now we have the long journey of regaining her health. Here is the first moments of her home with us starting this recovery. Does she have eyes? There is too much infection happening to know at this point, but antibiotics are now onboard and we’re getting her eating to gain strength. The discharge and crust will be removed shortly to further assess the condition of both eyes, and fingers crossed something in there is savable!

Regardless, this beautiful kitten is the newest addition to Ronin Ridge Animal Sanctuary, and we’ve decided on the final name of Peepers! Welcome home, Peepers! =)
