Happy Valentine's Day everyone hope it was a good one

texas turkey hunts have been wide open the past several weeks.
so far we have had 18 hunters in and all 18 have either killed turkeys or actually even missed multiple birds. it still amazes me that a man with a 12 ga shot gun can miss 3 birds at under 30 yards. i just dont get it!!!!!!
anyway it has been a great year so far. the tip of the day is water. we have killed more birds at water this than ever since range conditions are so very bad the feed isnt a s important as past years.
also no outside fire pits or anything like that please i was on a ranch this past weekend and it still looks like the middle of dec. this ranch could burn to the ground in hours if a fire was to start up i worried about all the lightning strikes last evening as they rolled in from the west.
anyway hope everyone has had a great hunting season and maybe it will rain this week.
we still have lots of hunters coming this year now off to some other ranches hope thay are as good as the last ones have been.

Brandon Phillips and Jay Miller have been friends sense high school and have never got to Turkey hunt together. Not only did Jay call Brandon's first Turkey of the hunt up for him to shoot. But 45 minutes later these life long friends got to shoot a double! Congrats to both of you guys and look forward to you returning for Deer season this fall!!

After the freaky sleet/snow/freezing rain Tuesday night our 6 hunters went out Thursday morning and brought back 4 in the morning, and these 6 that afternoon! Great hunt guys, looking forward to seeing you next year!!!

I just thought I'd show this awsome deer Jeana Gallops shot last year here with Biley Outfitting. The deer was estimated at 10 1/2 years old and an amazing 34 1/2" spread. This hunt was all captured on video, so stay tuned to STARS OF THE HUNT to watch this wonderful hunt.
