Hi, folks--the farm is winding down the outdoor season. Harvested all the red and green tomatoes yesterday, and Mike made awesome bruschetta, just like the old days! The herd is smaller these days, and the crops are small, but we still have the same vibe and some of our long-time WWOOFers and hands are here. Let us know if you're in the area!

Hi, all--it's been a while and a lot has happened here at the farm. So much that I haven't been able to keep this site up-to-date. We're getting ready for the summer season--our farm will be contributing to YCGrown's CSA, but we won't be at any markets this year. Check out YCGrown's FB page to see what's been going on! Our intern, Sam, is doing some great work there

YCGrown's CSA is now taking share sign-ups for 2013. Go to ycgrown.com to get yours! Our farm is one of the pick-up spots, so I'll be posting more photos from the CSA, the markets and all the other crazy things that happen here on the farm. Never a dull moment!

There is so much happening at the farm right now! We're seeding, transplanting, ordering plants and generally getting ready for the new season. The website is being revised--check back in a week or so. Also, we will be part of a new Yavapai County farmers and ranchers cooperative. The co-op will have a CSA this year. "Community-Supported Agriculture" programs are share programs whereby the members get a weekly box of whatever is fresh. Watch this site for more details!

The WWOOFers from France are returning tonight. The one from Japan returned a couple of days ago. The one from Boston (born in Russia) has been with us for a couple of weeks. We celebrated Hanukkah this year, as well as Christmas. It's been really great to have all of them here with us--and that includes the ones from Israel, Germany, Syracuse, San Diego, Wisconsin and Oakland, too! I know I forgot a couple of locations, but just know that we are really happy to have shared some time with all of you! :)
