Helm Horsemanship Training Great Horses and Great People to do Great Things For the past 25 years my horse training has primarily focused on wild mustangs.

As the supervisor for the Arizona Prison wild horse and burro program my primary responsibility was training inmates to gentle and train wild horses. In April of 2021 I retired from the wild horse inmate program so I could devote my time to cowboy churches and clinics.

Today's Horse Trainer Challenge winners!

Today's results were based on how well the trainers built the fundamental foundation of the horse from the ground up! We observed the progress of the horse, the consistency of training, how well the trainer could read the needs of the horse, and ultimately how well prepared the horse would be for its next step in training!

It was such a wonderful weekend, all the trainers did an excellent job. It was a very tuff decision.

We are looking forward to the next Trainer Challenge!
