Public Notice! To residents of Trails End and the surrounding area who have free roaming cats. There have been several reports of dead and missing cats.
This sweet boy was almost one of them. In renal failure less then two years old and his odds of survival are slim. 😿 We suspect he has ingested a toxin of unknown origin. Luckily he is still alive and was the best boy with Dr Holly and I getting his blood work done so contengious diseases can be ruled out. Thanks to Dr Holly at “Community Cats” Care Clinic for coming in on her day off! Now on fluids and medication we are not ready to give up on him yet!
Symptoms inclue; shaking, unable to walk or fallling over and vomiting. May appear injured. If you live in the area and find a dead cat wrap in a trash bag refrigerate and call Animal Control do not bury it! If you find a cat with the symptoms above it will need immediate veterinary care to survive.
