Live Animals Shipping:
We ship live animals Priority Overnight in specialized packaging Door-to-Door for Weekday Arrival. Someone must be available to sign for the package on first attempt delivery or else all guarantees are void.
Most live animals ordered before 2pm EST, Mon-Thur will ship the same day, in most cases, with delivery the next morning. All live animals ordered after 2pm EST on Thursday will ship the following Monday with delivery Tuesday morning. Live Animal shipping included in the listed prices in most cases. State sales tax added at checkout for all animal purchases delivered to NC. Regulated/Restricted Species:
Some states may require special permits or licensing for certain types of animals. Buyers assume full responsibility for checking their local laws regarding any licensing or regulation. Michigan residents: A Health Certificate is required for all live animals shipped to the state of Michigan. This certificate is an additional $39.00 fee that will be charged to the final total of purchase. Orders of Multiple Animals in Single Order:
If ordering more than one live animal in a single order, as a large portion of the initial animal price is to cover shipping and packaging. Multiple animal purchases typically result in lower per animal prices for additional animals. Live Animals Return Policy:
When purchasing live animals, purchaser agrees to accept shipment and be available for first attempted delivery. In the case that purchaser does not accept shipment, made error on delivery address, or any situation that causes delay or returned shipment, there is no refund. Live animals come with our Alive on Arrival Guarantee. Should animal arrive deceased or injured, purchaser must make same day notification with pictures to J and J Pets via email, otherwise guarantee is void. No refunds or exchanges on live animals for other than deceased arrival or injury during shipment. There is no guarantee on animals delivered in areas where outside temperature is below 45 degrees F. Due to our rapidly changing stock levels there is no guarantee that all item will be fulfilled at the time the order is packed. In the unlikely event that we are out of stock on an item we will contact you immediately. Live Animal Sexing/Sizing:
Unless indicated otherwise, all live animals seen on our site are unsexed and cannot be guaranteed either male or female. Live animals vary in size, photos are for representation purposes only and are not necessarily the specific animal you will receive. Exact sizing is usually not available due to the vast variance from animal to animal. Venomous/Dangerous Species:
Buyers shall understand that certain species are venomous and considered dangerous. All live animals should be handled properly and with extreme care. Purchase and handling of venomous or dangerous animals is at the sole and voluntary risk of the buyer. Liability Release:
All buyers shall assume all responsibility for the animals they purchase and hold free of any liability J and J Pets, our breeders, employees, and all affiliates for any injury, death, loss, or damage incurred.
