For the safety of our clients, patients, and team, North Fork Animal Clinic will be closed tomorrow, January 26, due to severe weather and poor road conditions.
We’ll resume normal operations as soon as conditions improve. If you have an urgent need, please contact your nearest emergency veterinary hospital.

***UPDATE***

Renovations are taking longer than we originally hoped. This is the current state of our building as of November 22, 2025. We keep hoping that things will magically start progressing more quickly but getting insurance approval is an unfortunately slow process. All our local authorities and inspectors have been great to work with. We can't wait until this is all behind us and we're able to welcome our clients and patients back into our home. Thanks for being patient with us!

We’re Open! 🐾

We’re so excited to welcome you back! While our clinic building is still under construction, we’ll be seeing patients out of temporary buildings right here at the same address.
Starting Wednesday, September 17, we’ll be offering:

Wellness and vaccine visits
Non-emergency sick visits (allergies, ear infections, diarrhea, limping, etc.)

For now, we don’t have in-house bloodwork or x-rays, but we can send bloodwork out and usually have results back within 1–2 business days.
Medication pick-up will also be available beginning Wednesday, September 17.
Please call ahead to schedule your appointment!
Thank you so much for your patience as we settle into our “temporary normal.” We can’t wait to see you and your pets again soon! 🐶🐱💙

This is a picture of a part of our community that we are so proud and blessed to be part of, the sale arena at the Ross County Fair. It represents so many things we believe in by coming together as a community to give back to our kids, to prove to them that hard work does pay off.
It is with heavy hearts that we share we won't be able to participate in this year's auction due to the fire that closed down our business.
We absolutely LOVE supporting this event, the amazing kids, and the community that means so much to us. Not being there this time is truly disappointing, but we'll be cheering everyone on from the sidelines.
We're committed to rebuilding and returning stronger than ever and we look forward to joining you again next year!

From the Bottom of Our Hearts — Thank You for Your Patience

This journey has been harder than we ever imagined. After the fire, we truly believed we’d be back up and running much sooner. But it’s taking longer than we thought — and with no electricity in the building, our hands are tied in ways we didn’t expect.

We understand your frustration — because we’re feeling it too. We’re not just a business… we’re people who also lost our jobs, our routines, and a place we poured our hearts into. This is deeply personal for us.

Please know we are doing everything we possibly can, every single day, to move forward and rebuild. Your support and patience mean more than you know. We won’t stop fighting to come back. Please message us with any questions or concerns.

With extreme temperatures in the forecast, it’s important to remember: if it’s too hot for YOU, it’s too hot for your PETS! 🐶🐱☀️

🔥 Tips to keep your furry friend safe:
• Keep them indoors during peak heat hours
• Ensure fresh, cool water is always available
• Limit walks to early morning or late evening
• NEVER leave pets in a parked car — even for a minute
• Watch for signs of heatstroke: heavy panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting

We've had a lot of people ask how bad the damage is. The answer is tricky. The fire damage itself isn't that bad. The smoke and water damage is extensive. We lost our entire pharmacy and still don't have electric in the clinic.
