Bambi (chocolate) and Buttons just moments old.
Buttercake did a beautiful job. She's cleaning them up and so proud of her accomplishment. Buckley is obviously the daddy of these two little girls.

Snow is melting, rained a lot yesterday so now I'm back to mud farming!! Ugh!! I hate the mud!
Play shift #1
Scarlett, Tala, Kimber, Gracie, Patience, Lela, Kyah, AvaLynn, Alyvia, Ella and Benjamin. They are playing while the others are having breakfast. Then we will swap everyone out and this group gets breakfast while the other 2 groups play.
Remember there can NEVER be more than 1 male in the same play group at a time. Our boys can never, ever be out at the same time in the same play group.
Meal times and play times are a very organized ordeal.

Her ligaments are still a bit tight in her backend, so possibly a few more days. She may have triplets in there so she looks quite large. We'll be ready when she is.
We know she is half fainter goat, but not sure what else she's mixed with. Her babies do tend to be bigger than the others born to the Nigerian Dwarves.

Congratulations to the farm Butcher Mountain (last name is Butcher) they have 2 more beautiful babies to love. They are doing wonderful, I'll be back frequently to check on them. For now, it's time to head home and check in Buttercake.

Got them a nice warm spot with a heat lamp to keep them warm. Momma and the babies are doing well. Never a dull moment on our family farms. My sister and her husband are on a little vacation in Florida. This momma decided to wait until they left to have her babies 😆 🤣 We knew she wouldn't hold off until they got back. I think there is one more momma that's expecting babies.

Wouldn't you know it,,
My mom calls me in a panic that one of the sheep had her babies in the mud while it was raining. The terrain is not suitable for my parents to even try and navigate. So they have 2 new additions to their farm. Two little boys. Glad my daughter isn't due to go to work until later ,,I needed her help today. In the meantime, Billie calls me from home and says momma Buttercake is definitely in labor with heavy panting. Babies coming all over the place!! 😆

Officially watching Buttercake on baby cam for her babies to be born. She is VERY ready to have her babies. We'll keep everyone posted. She was very solitary yesterday which is a sign of looking for a private spot to have her babies. We don't want any littles born outside due to the temperatures, so she's in the barn in a warm spot awaiting her special packages. Look at that big belly!!! So beautiful.
