This. Seeing pets progress makes it all worth it. Building that trust and connection is what makes me fall in love with this profession time and time again. There’s nothing quite like it 🫶

Anytime I’m grooming live, I get a lot of questions like, “How are the dogs so calm?” or “How do they stay so still?”

The truth is, not every dog walks into my salon feeling comfortable about grooming and that’s ok!! Building trust takes time.

One of my biggest goals is helping dogs change the way they feel about the grooming process. Over the years, I’ve watched anxious dogs learn to relax, fearful dogs gain confidence, and even dogs who once struggled with handling begin to enjoy their grooming appointments.

I achieve this through a one on one, cage free, fear free approach in a calm environment where each dog is treated as an individual. Every dog has different needs, different comfort levels, and a different pace. Some dogs progress quickly, while others need a little more time and patience.

Grooming isn’t just about the haircut it’s about creating a positive experience that helps dogs feel safe, understood, and cared for. When we listen to what they’re telling us and work with them instead of against them, amazing things can happen.

We tried clean feet this time around— Clean feet is a great way to keep dogs cool, and at the same time it will also help pet parents keep those paws clean! While poodles are known for this practical style, many other breeds can benefit from the benefits it offers!
