Cat Roundup Rescue

Cat Roundup Rescue Cat Roundup Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization. The mission of this organization is to help cats and kittens find their forever home.

We were founded by two women looking to reduce the number of stray cats found in our community. After helping more than 370 cats and kittens during our first year, the rescue has expanded to seven volunteers. The rescue is entirely staffed by volunteers with all of the rescues being kept in our personal homes.

100% of donations are used for the care and medical costs of the rescue animals. All c

ats and kittens are tested (FELV/FIV negative), spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, and flea treated before leaving our care. We nurture these cats and kittens back to good health, provide a secure space and ultimately place them into loving homes. Hi Im Twilight,i love to be snuggled i will lay in your lap for as long as you will let me. I enjoy chasing the wand toys and lasers. I love children and am very gentle with my claws. Did i mention im a long hair! I will require being brushed and boy do i love it.

We are thrilled to welcome our very first Christmas Parade Grand Marshal, Barbie Britton McCathren!

Since founding “Cultivating Our Future” in 2017, Barbie has been a driving force in our community, leading a dedicated group of volunteers to decorate Manpower Park and truly embody the spirit of Christmas. Her passion and commitment have pushed the city of Jackson to new heights in celebrating the holiday season.

For these reasons, the Gear Grinders feel it’s only fitting to honor Barbie as our inaugural Grand Marshal. Without her efforts, our Christmas celebrations may never have taken root!

Join us in celebrating Barbie and showing our gratitude for her incredible contributions to our town’s Christmas festivities! 🎅✨

We also want to recognize our other nominees who embody the heart of the Christmas spirit. We invite Josie Rader, Jenni Ball, and Charlie Patton to ride on our “Community Difference Makers” float as special parade honorees!
