We are a small kennel located in north texas on 600 acres.. We have horses ,cows, goats, pigs and of course Bulldogges....Our dogs have a lot of space to run and be free, they are not crated .I love to show my dogs i could go to a dog show 24-7 if they had one..I want to help educate bully owners about the L gene that the OEB carries and that it is ok if their dog has long hair. It gives you the
choice to have a smooth or long haired grizzly coated MAMMOTH bulldogge. The L gene in the OEB can be seen or your dog may be just a carrier and bred to another carrier you will get some MAMMOTH puppies... So do we cull, spay or just get rid of them due to coat length NO. We love them just like we would one of our KIDS . There is nothing wrong with a lil hair... The founders of this breed caused the hair so the dogs shouldn't be discriminated due to hair length. They tried to cull them, ship them overseas, hide them not knowing that the gene was Mutant, Recessive and would pop many years later, now that the breed has gained so much popularity there are MAMMOTH pups born everywhere in NORTH AMERICA and OVERSEAS. Overseas they are called MAMMUT translated to ENGLISH is MAMMOTH...They are beautiful dogs with longer hair around the ears , neck and feathering on the back legs. Typically MAMMOTHS are born out of smooth parents in a mixed litter of different coat lengths...Enjoy our page we will have discussions on both smooth and long haired OEB'S.
