Part 2 of the mule rescue. I'm so grateful to my new friend Mariana who found this sweet girl and advocated for her. She donated a bale of hay and came along to ensure we could find her and get her safely loaded. What an angel! I did make a report with the local sherrif and animal control will be in contact today. Stay tuned for part 3, settling in and intake photos. Donations of senior from our chewy wish list and alfalfa cubes would be so helpful. We will also need to fundraise for her medical but I want to speak with animal control first. As soon as we are able she will be assessed by our vet, Bart Sirman and we will get an exam and bloodwork. If she's healthy enough and has the will she will prosper here. I think Festus needs a girlfriend, don't you!

Part 1 Mule Rescue. Check out the day I had today. Man I'm pooped. When I rescue an animal I always let my intuition tell me it's one I'm meant to help. I don't comment on every post where an animal needs help. Rather I go off the calling I feel to help. I know it sounds cheesy. When I saw this mule I felt a strong will to help. Not because we have the extra resources or even tons of room, but because I felt that calling. I hope you guys stay around for this next journey. I cannot believe someone dumped this poor sweet old girl in a fenced in campground.

Ms Beautiful Shiloh had a spa day at her foster mom and dad's place yesterday. She is looking sooo good, finally 🙌 Thank you Amy and Dan 🥰

These babies are always finding some sort of creature on the farm. Boone tracks everything he can find down and barks and bark and barks to let me know something is there. Hes been finding Allot of turtles and now this guy. Keeps things interesting for sure.

Ok guys I'm getting a tad freaked out about the screw worm thing and I just saw this on Tik Tok and it made me laugh because well I guess that's all we can do and take every precaution necessary. I just ordered a bunch of fly spray and will pick up some wound spray tomorrow that's recommended if you do have an animal with a wound as well as some swat. Stay vigilant everyone!
