It’s that time of year folks! Vacation and learning time! 🏝️

Dr. Koss and Dr. Higdon will be filling in next week while Dr. Rucker completes her yearly continuing education classes required for licensure and on family vacation. Our schedule is listed below:

Monday, May 25th- CLOSED- Memorial Day 🇺🇸

Tuesday, May 26th- 8a- 6p
Wednesday May 27th- 8a- 12p
Thursday, May 28th- 8a- 6p
Friday, May 29th- 8a- 6p

Monday, June 1st- 8a- 6p
Tuesday, June 2nd- 8a- 6p
Wednesday, June 3rd- 8a- 12p

*Closed for lunch daily from 12p- 1p.

Dr. Rucker will return on Thursday, June 4th and we will resume our normal schedule.

Family always comes first, and unfortunately, Dr. Rucker’s baby is experiencing a sudden medical emergency. Because of this, our office will be closed tomorrow, May 18th, so Dr. Rucker can be at the hospital.

We apologize deeply for the short notice and the disruption to your schedule. Please rest assured that our team will reach out to you as soon as we can to reschedule your visits.

Holy smokes! You spayed and neutered how many cats?!? 🙀

You heard it right! Our March Madness special totals are finally in, and we are absolutely floored. We officially altered 100 CATS during this promo!

Why this matters:

Every single one of these surgeries is a victory for our community. By reaching this milestone, we’ve prevented:

Overpopulation: Stopping the cycle before it starts.

Homelessness: Fewer cats wandering without a warm bed.

Suffering: Ensuring fewer kittens are born into harsh conditions.

⭐️ UPDATE! Our fur fam is amazing! We are only $200 away from our goal! We thank you so very much for the generosity and love you show our four-legged friends! ❤️

Meet the "Bottle Squad"—the current residents of our laps and the reason our staff has been fueled by coffee and kitten cuddles lately! These tiny survivors were surrendered as strays and have been receiving round-the-clock bottle feedings to get them strong enough for their forever homes.

While our hearts are overflowing, our Lend A Paw fund is unfortunately running on empty.

Why We Need Your Support-

Lately, we’ve been hit with several heavy cases that have left our emergency fund in the negative:

The Senior Sweetheart: We recently took in a geriatric stray with severe GI issues. He is now stable, incredibly loving, and searching for a retirement home!

Emergency Interventions: We’ve stepped in to help two owned pets through major life-saving emergencies.

The Tiny Tots: Constant care, milk replacer, and medical check-ups for babies like these kittens add up quickly.

We are so incredibly thankful for a community that allows us to say "yes" to these vulnerable animals, but to keep saying "yes," we need to replenish the fund.

Service Update: Thursday Appointments

We would like to share a brief update regarding our Thursday schedule. Over the last 4 months, we have transitioned back to a one doctor practice and to ensure the highest level of quality care for our patients, our schedule has been updated.

What this means for you:

Thursdays are dedicated exclusively to surgical procedures and technician-led visits.

Comprehensive doctor exams and routine wellness visits will not be available on this day.

We’re still here!
Our front desk remains fully staffed. Our team is available by phone to assist with scheduling, refills, or any questions you may have.

Charlie has been a cornerstone of CVC for four years now. Her commitment to our patients and her expertise are unmatched.

Billie – 1 Year Milestone! ✨
Billie has officially hit her first full year with us, and we can’t imagine the team without her energy and heart.

These ladies are absolute powerhouses. Whether they’re keeping the clinic flow seamless, ensuring every pet receives top-tier care, or keeping the whole team laughing through the busy shifts—they do it all with a smile.
