Dave's Blue Tongue Skinks Chicago - Dave's Skinks - We specialize in the ethical keeping and breeding of Northern Blue Tongue Skinks and Irian Jaya BTS As of 2016, I had multiple skinks and breeding successfully.

We specialize in healthy, captive-bred Northern Blue Tongue Skinks native to Australia, Irian Jaya Blue Tongue Skinks native to Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, and Centralian Blue Tongue Skinks native to Australia. I got into breeding for the love of Blue Tongue Skinks; to get them into quality forever homes where they will be loved and respected their entire lives by a new generation of reptile enthusiasts. The first reptile that started it all was Herman, a leopard gecko for my 9th birthday in 2000. Starting research in 2005, Dinobot, the first Irian Jaya Blue Tongue, was welcomed into the family by 2007. So who had their money on Magmar?? But by an incredible miracle, we had two mothers deliver first yesterday!!! Magmar with 12 healthy amazing bubs, and Jellybean with an equally impressive litter of 11. Congratulations to both mothers and to all the brave and virtuous celebrating this Memorial Day 🇺🇸

Watch from start to finish as we feed our room of Blue-Tongued Skinks. We are always creating new meals for the lizards including this one with a new food item, a healthy organ meat, Turkey Gizzard!

The three species of Blue Tongue fed include: Northern (Tiliqua scincoides intermedia), Irian Jaya (Tiliqua gigas macroscincoides), and Eastern (Tiliqua scincoides scincoides)
