We are 100% donation based & all donations are tax deductible. Our animals come from legal cruelty & neglect cases, slaughterhouses, the food industry, abandonment cases & given up pets. We teach tha

t all animals lives matter & like us they are all emotional sentient beings that want to enjoy life. They don’t want to suffer or feel pain & they want to be social, to play, explore & stay with their families. Farm Animal encounters include horses, ponies, mini horses & a Clydesdale. There are happy pigs, goats, sheep, llama, alpacas, cows, patagonian maras, bunnies, donkeys, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, parrots, giant tortoises & other reptiles. Private & group visits are scheduled by appointment only. Each educational tour is 1-2 hours where you learn about animals & their individual rescue stories. Additional visiting time after the tour is available. We offer a variety of seasonal "All About Animals" kids classes, farm camp, horsemanship, art classes, continuing education classes for science teachers. In addition to the farm we have 13 acres of nature preserve & honey bees hard at work saving the planet. (no honey for sale). Love animals & nature? Then come volunteer! The animals would love some extra back rubs~! www.erinsfarm.net

Farm Camp is back in session this week so we are having a blast! After a long hot day with kids and animals, it was off to bale hay! (It’s always hay cutting season when it’s 90° right?!! 🥵)

This cutting was rained on a few days ago & it is a bit sun bleached, but it’s better than nothing and we got it bailed! Happy to have food to stock up on!

Can you consider sponsoring a bale!?
Every $5 donation buys a bale!
Today we took Home over 200 bales!

All donations are 100% tax deductible due to our non profit 501(c)(3) charity status.

😍Is that not the cutest face you’ve ever seen? 😍

Curley’s first prothesis is finished and we went for his fitting Paws In Motion today.

Unfortunately, the surgeons at Purdue University Veterinary Hospital did not save us much leg to work with during his amputation surgery weeks ago.

The prosthetic fits but when he flexes his leg there’s a possibility that it could pop off because there’s just not much leg for the prosthesis to hold onto.

There’s nothing that we could do at this point but try to work with what we have. Not everything works perfectly the first time around.

Luckily the designer Dagny is very creative and immediately thought of a few different ways to make it work. We casted his good leg for a supportive brace. Curley has been growing fast and his good leg is struggling to support his weight. They also casted his body for a full body brace or straps that the prosthesis can attach to & give it the support needs from the limited leg left to work with.

It sounds crazy and complicated, but they showed me some videos of other similar cases and I’m very hopeful and optimistic that he will have something great very soon and he will be able to run and play with the other sheep & goats!

🚨YOU can design his brace pattern! One of our auction items is to bid on the design of curly prosthesis! You can pick out unicorns or mermaids or race cars or some other cure cool pattern that you like! You can even put your logo on him! 🤣

Head on over to our barn, raising gala fundraiser, Auction and we will have this bit on soon!

Sometimes I think that life sends us a curveball just to test our resilience, strength, commitment & tenacity! At least that's how l'm feeling right now!

We’ve been working on farm repairs and construction all summer & I had just survived a long hot week of farm camp, where every day with the kids was an exhausting 95°!
As soon as camp was over I had planned on diving in & catching up this week with preparation for our first fundraising GALA coming fast on August 2nd, by reaching out to more local businesses for gift basket raffle items & to spread the word.

But then curve ball!

After the kids went home from camp Friday night I was an excruciating pain for hours before finally taking myself to the ER. Only to find out that I was needing an emergency abdominal surgery right away.

Surgery went well & I feel very lucky & blessed that we caught things when we did. But now I am in the painful recovery mode, unable to lift more than 10 pounds for the next month with difficulty siting up & walking. We have our farm staff covering animal care, so no worries! the animals are all doing fine. ❤️🙌

🙏However, we are looking for helpers to help spread the word about our GALA and save me some of the legwork! If you are a local business or person that would love to donate a raffle item for our fundraiser that would be amazing !! Or please share our Gala post to help get the word out and sell tickets!

I also would like to apologize for the people that are patiently waiting for farm visits with their grandkids, etc. With fence repairs and kids camp and now this surgery recovery it has made it more difficult to plan the open farm visitong schedule that we had hoped to for this summer. But please know that we are working as fast as we can to get some more open days soon!

❤️Thank you all for your patience and support! ❤️
Shout out to the amazing staff at St. Mary’s Hospital for taking great care of me!

To get tickets for our gala, please click on the link below and share the original gala post which should be the one prior to this!!

🌈Thursday @ 6:30pm, bringing the horses in…. 😍

In this business.... there is no such thing as a day off or a vacation. But loving what you do every day makes every exhausting second worth it.

Views like this one today remind me how beautiful this world is and how grateful I am for my role in it. That I would do it all again in a heartbeat.❤️
