Did you know your dog’s toys collect bacteria, yeast and mold? 🤢 Maisey’s new year’s resolution is to clean her toys more, and she’s sharing how you can too!

What you need:
- Pet-safe laundry detergent or baking soda and vinegar
- Washer
- Dryer

To wash:
- Add toys to washer
- Pour pet-safe laundry detergent or sprinkle baking soda on each toy and add a few capfuls of vinegar to the washer
- Put washer on gentle cycle with hot water
- Add toys to dryer

Note: Don’t wash rubber or plastic dog toys in the washing machine as the hot water may melt them! 🥵

- 3/4 c warm water
- 1 tbsp goat’s milk powder
- 2 tsp carob powder
- Pup Cup Frozen All Life Stage Dog Treat - Original Whip
- Merry & Bright BRRR Bark
- Merry & Bright You Da Man Cookie

Instructions:
- Add warm water to a mug
- Add goat’s milk powder to mug and mix
- Add carob powder to mug and mix
- Spray Pup Cup Whip on top of drink
- Crumble Merry & Bright BRRR Bark on top of Pup Cup Whip
- Enjoy with Merry & Bright You Da Man Cookie on the side!

Meet Brittany and her dog, Charles. Our annual Santa photo event has been a tradition for her that began with her childhood dog, Sampson, that she has continued with Charles. However, in 2022, Brittany was unfortunately hospitalized battling multiple health issues and was unable to take Charles to see Santa. “I was devastated last year when I was in hospital because my health not only took away something from me, but from him too,” Brittany said.

Despite her declining health, Brittany was determined to ensure Charles got his moment with Santa whether she was with him or not. She made arrangements for her close friends Anita and Drew to take Charles to see Santa at her local PetSmart and continue their tradition.

When we heard about Brittany and Charles’ story, we knew we needed to make this year’s Santa photo event bigger and better than ever for them. We reached out to Brittany and formally invited her and Charles to a private, professional photoshoot with Santa at their local store in Surrey, BC, Canada!

Brittany, Charles, Anita and Drew arrived to our Surrey store and spent the full morning taking photos with Santa. Charles must’ve been an extra good boy this year, because Santa told him that whatever toys and treats he touched in the store he’d get for Christmas! 😊

After the photoshoot, they were kind enough to let our team interview them so they could share what the Santa photo event means to them. Because Brittany is still battling health issues and Charles is a senior pet, they shared with our team that they are unsure how much time they have left together, so memories like these are incredibly important to them. When we asked Brittany what she wanted for Christmas this year, she said, “Time.” ❤️
