Chicago Patchwork Farms is a cooperation of urban fruit, vegetable, and herb gardens on Chicago's south and west sides. Hope you come visit!

We connect with our community through our seasonal farm stand, farm dinners, volunteer days, and events! Patchwork Farms is a cooperative of three farms across the city of Chicago. At our farm stand, you can purchase our vegetables, flowers, and herbs as well as Mint Creek Farm meat and eggs. The farm stand is located at our location on 2825 W Chicago Ave and is open from mid-May through mid-November, Saturdays from 10-3 and Wednesdays from 4-7. All are also welcome to stop by during those times to help out around the farm. On the farm we host events such as weddings, yoga, dance parties, farm dinners, brunches, and whatever else we and you can come up with! Send us an email if you are interested in renting the farm for your event. Visit our website for more information about our events.

Please join us at Patchwork Farms for Community Alchemy - Halloween + Día de Mu***os market & gathering on Saturday October 31st, 10am-4pm! We will be having our farmstand alongside some incredible local vendors, craft tables, music, and a collective community altar.

We will be having a costume contest - for humans & creature companions alike! 🦮🐈‍⬛

We are counting down the last weeks of the season and would love the opportunity to gather and celebrate all the land has offered us this year, our loved ones that have passed on, and each other 🦋 please bring an offering for the altar, your friends & family, and good spirits to the farm 🌻

The event takes place on private property and is a safe space. We keep our comunidad safe and our traditions and culture alive.

All the drinks will be served hot, no ice.

Hasta pronto!

We have a few vendor spots open - DM us if you’d like to join the party ❣️

Hello friends! We invite you to a day full of community, art, and popular education as we raise funds for the next LPC brigade to Santiago de Cuba leaving next month. Our goal is to bring medical and farming supplies to the communities there as the genocidal U.S. blockade against the people grinds on. Funds will also support the travel costs of the 16 majority BIPOC, working class brigadistas!

Cuba Solidarity Fair! Sunday 10/18
1-5pm
2825 Chicago Patchwork Farms

- Music from Adam Gottlieb & OneLove
- Raffle of amazing political art and other goods! (Reach out if you’d like to donate an item!!!)
- Film screenings from previous Levántate por Cuba brigades and from “Agroecology in Cuba”
- tabling by local grassroots organizations

The event will be Potluck style, bring a dish to share if you can! The fair is on an urban farm, compost toilet available and bathrooms at neighboring establishments as well.

Blessed harvest season friends!

City Farm just got the community garden entrance fixed! It was a long time coming and we are grateful to our new pal J who built the fence on the honor system. We are looking for support in paying him back for that and other help!

Along with the gate, there is a series of upgrades needed at City Farm. These will help community enjoyment of the space, as well as secure good standing with the land owner to get an agreement for more years of community farming there. This is huge, the future of city farm is at stake but we trust we are in good hands!

- Fence and other repairs (urgent) $2000
- Junk removal $1500
- Signage upgrade : $500

We were so blessed by the community when we launched a city farm fundraiser in the spring. We reached that goal and were able to transition the space in major ways, expanding ground for the community garden and making a new stage and event space possible!

On the farms, and on the planet as a whole, it has been a big season of transitions, growing pains, bitter sweet moments, and abundance. We are all truly people powered! Shout out to all the non-human people as well! 🪱🐦‍⬛🐝🦋🐞😼

please share and spread the word! hasta victoria siempre!
