Poe was adopted from Chicago Animal Care and Control and guessed to be approximately eight years young.

His new family adores him as do I!

This homemade scratch board was taught simply by capturing and reinforcing paw touches to the board — turning nail care into a fun enrichment and training game instead of a stressful struggle.

Nail trims, eye drops, ear cleanings, and more can all become low-stress, cooperative experiences when we take the time to build trust and communication.
