Who wasted who’s time?🙃
When I started training dogs I was still working a full time job in the corporate world and had no idea this is where I would end up. I have always loved dogs and was pretty knowledge about them so of course I was pumped when I got my first dog, even if it was in my 30s. Then given a chance to work for a dog training facility on my weekends (even if it was 1.5 hours away) sounded like fun. I did not care that I would have no days off by working these two jobs.
I was extremely fortunate that the one and only Valerie Iannello saw potential in me that didn’t even know I had. She took a chance on me and is still an incredible mentor til this day! We chirp all the time and she’s my biggest resource when it comes to training advice. I had the privilege to work with so many different types of dogs, constantly learn new things and became a better handler with everyday. Owning my own business was never on my radar when I started until my mentor encouraged me to do it. Val helped me every step of the way before opening SLM and she truly believe in me. I am extremely thankful for everything Imprinted Paws taught me in order to be where I am today.
So don’t listen to the haters that might doubt you as you follow your dreams - proving them wrong with your success is the sweetest revenge
