The power of place💙
There are so many different ways you can utilize the power of place with your dog! Place is typically an elevated area with the expectation of not moving from that boundary. This gives your dog a “job” of staying on that place board which will eventually help them learn to settle and relax. Once place becomes familiar it can be utilized in so many ways!

Proofing Place💃🏼
Anything can be place! On a simple walk find a something to “place” your dog on, like a huge boulder. Allow yourself to test out some new dance moves as you build your dogs duration with distractions. I promise your dog won’t judge you too hard

Path Walks with Alma🤎
A local path has so much to offer in order to fulfill your dog. Don’t be afraid to break up your walk and take the time to allow your dog to watch the world around them. Paths have so many different everyday distractions that give your dog exposure to so much. At the end of the day it’s about making walks fun for you and your dog!

Smiles and decompressing are beautiful😄After having a nice active training session at the empty playground working on confidence and generalizing, it is always nice to set aside some time to decompress after. Allowing your dog to “turn it off” and calmly take in the world around them.

Oh there’s a Petco with a big closing sale?! Say less! Max being the best model and showcasing all the different sales they had going on. Getting great public exposure while stocking up on discounted dog supplies, it’s a win win. He also tested out one of the PRIDE PRIZE first place items! It’s Max approved!

Monday Motivation🌅
Whether it’s running or a simple walk, getting up with the sun starts the day off on the right foot! This sunrise run was amazing. Training for Canicross, a sport where humans and dogs run cross-country together with the dog pulling the runner, has been such a blast! This community has pushed me completely out of my comfort zone in all the best ways. So don’t be afraid to do something new with your dog and keep pushing yourself!

The art of doing nothing💞Make time on your outtings with your dog to decompress and do nothing. Allowing them to take in the environment with all its exposure to work on building their neutrality. Bringing able to “turn it off” is just as important as being active
