This is our final post here. But instead of "bye forever", I'm saying "to be continued".
After so much prayer and agony about if we want to continue breeding Kendall, we have examined our hearts (and our mental space) and decided that this season of life is for loving, training, and enjoying dogs, not procreating them. We plan to breed again and make it more of a business endeavor the kids can manage (so probably 5 or 6 years from now, using a different female.) Having puppies was a truly wonderful experience, and we are so thankful that we were able to find homes where we still get to see them. Breeding takes up a good amount of time, and mental space, so even though we loved it, we are putting it on the shelf for a later time.
I will be shutting down our page, but stay tuned in later years for us to resurface and be likely breeding purebred Bernese Mountain Dogs. Time will tell - things could change. But what won't change is our love for dogs! We will be getting Kendall fixed this fall and also getting her a new friend... any guesses what breed we are getting?!
